“We weren’t going to hurt you, Easton,” Penn added.
“Oh, now you tell me. Thanks. Excuse me if I didn’t want to end up tied to a chair next to that pervert.” I gulped down a huge sip of my drink, praying that the buzz kicked in sooner rather than later. As I looked around the room at the twinkling lights from the three gaudy Christmas trees, my stomach lurched. “Now what?”
Roman wiped the sweat from his face with the back of his hand, exhaustion creeping into his eyes. “That’s up to you, princess. You can call the cops, tell them everything… we won’t stop you.”
My heart raced. Tell them what? That I fucked four criminals in between them beating the shit out of a man in the basement? That I enjoyed every single second of it? Every earth-shattering orgasm they gave me.
“Or,” Vance chimed in, “you could give us a head start to get away. We’re good at disappearing.”
Well, fuck. I didn’t really like that scenario either. Was I foolish to think that I could actually continue a relationship with all four of them after tonight? Or that they would want to too?
I blew out a deep breath. “Were you telling the truth about that man down there? Did he really do all that weird shit to women?”
The four of them nodded in unison. “Full disclosure, that’s not why we came after him,” Roman rasped, “but yeah, he’s a monster.”
“So, it just made beating him within an inch of his life that much easier,” Zander added.
A warm fuzzy feeling stirred in my belly. “Then you are doing the world a favor. I can’t turn you in.” I took another sip of my cocoa while they held their breaths, waiting for me to explain. “I’m not going to give you a head start… I’m letting you go. I’ll call the police as soon as you’re gone. I’ll tell them that when I checked in, that asshole held me hostage and that I spent all night trying to get away. You’ll need to knock him out and untie him so it’s somewhat believable.”
Penn’s eyes widened. “You’d take the fall for us?”
I snickered. “It was self-defense, right? Besides… I’m not as selfish as you all think I am.”
Zander grabbed my hand and gave it a light squeeze. “Are you sure? They’re going to ask you a lot of questions… And because of who you are, this will be all over the news so fast it will make your head spin.”
My stomach knotted. “I know.”
“The press will make your life a living hell,” Roman added.
“They already make my life a living hell. I knew what I was signing up for when I decided to become an author.”
Vance nodded. “But once that guy’s rap sheet comes out, you’ll be a hero to women everywhere.”
I shrugged. “That’s not why I’m doing this.”
“Why are you really doing this?” Roman asked.
I wrang my hands together nervously, suddenly shy around these beautiful psychos. “Because I arrived here as an uptight, bitter woman with zero interest in letting myself experience any kind of joy. But you… In just one night, you four have made me feel a fire I’ve never felt before. And I don’t want to be an ice princess anymore.”
Penn winked. “Your body felt nice and warm to me, darlin’. Looks like we thawed you out.”
I took one look at his tousled hair and sloppy grin and couldn’t help but burst out laughing. “I’ve been a massive slut this weekend, haven’t I?”
Vance cupped my chin in his hand, tilting it up as he looked down at me hungrily. “You’re our slut.”
My pussy tingled under his gaze. I was starring in my very own romance novel, and I didn’t want it to end. But it had to… So I needed one last memory before letting them walk away from me forever.
I stood up and walked over to the candy-cane lined staircase. I threw them the most seductive look I could muster. “Wait ten minutes and then come up to my room.”
As I lay on the bed naked, tangled up in multiple strings of colorful Christmas lights, I almost lost my nerve. The old Easton would have settled for a quickie in between publicity events. The me I was before arriving at the Briar Patch only dated passionless men with zero charm. Despite the fact that Zander, Roman, Penn, and Vance were criminals, they had been the most chivalrous men I’d ever met. And they’d made me cum more times tonight than I’d had all year.
My breath hitched as all four of them entered my room. I took notice of their eyes, the way they lit up like Christmas trees at the sight of me. “Too much?” I squeaked out.
Zander shook his head as he stalked over to the bed. He grabbed my wrist and used one end of the lights to secure it to the bed post. My pulse raced as he did the same to my other wrist. “Now you’re just right.”
Moisture pooled between my thighs as Vance settled in next to me on the bed. Roman nestled in between my legs, softly caressing my thighs. And Penn cozied up to Zander on the other side. They were practically salivating as they eyed me like a Christmas buffet.
Vance pushed his thumb into my mouth. I moaned as I sucked, swirling my tongue in circles around it. “Ooh, baby. You’re in trouble now.”
