Page 87 of His Wild Seduction

At first, I thought maybe I’d said the wrong thing.

But I didn’t have to worry. It was the absolute right thing to say because my sexy as fuck husband was crushing my mouth with his.

His hand cupped the back of my head, so it didn’t connect with the unforgiving wall as he ravaged my mouth.

“Um, are you coming back to the party?” an amused voice said from behind us.

Josef slowed us down, breaking our connection only to come back for several more plucking kisses. He pressed his forehead to mine, not turning around or releasing me.

“We’ll be right there.”

“Alright, I look forward to meeting you formally, Mrs. Aziz,” the masculine voice replied.

I couldn’t reply.

I was still trying to catch my breath.

CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE

JOSEF

When I came back from checking the security teams and the biometric alarm system I’d installed personally in Marat and Destiny’s new home, I couldn’t find her.

My Little Red was missing.

At first, I thought maybe she’d gone to the restroom. So, like a fucking stalker, I waited outside the one designated for ladies for ten full minutes.

But no Meredith.

Then, I texted her. I waited another couple of minutes.

No reply.

I tried to track the thing, but of course the security system I installed also messed with any tracking software inside the home, so that was moot.

Curiosity turned to annoyance.

Annoyance to anger.

Anger to rage.

Then rage to worry.

And that was the fucking worst of it.

I was worried my wife of less than two months had walked out on me. Like some lovesick fucking boy, I panicked.

I was so scared that Meredith, my Little Red, had finally wised up to the fact that I was so fucking beneath her she decided to leave me.

No. I can’t let that happen.

I was about to race outside when Marat caught up with me. His amused expression told me he knew exactly what I’d been thinking.

“I believe I know where she is,” he’d said quietly, turning as if I’d just follow him.

Fucker.

He was right.
