“You can leave,” I ordered. “And lock the door behind you.”

Monica sputtered and looked at Red. “You can’t think… this is… you can’t expect me to think you’d rather have her instead of me,” she spat.

Red pointed to the door. “Don’t let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya, Monica.”

Monica stomped her foot and looked ready to throw a temper tantrum.

The front door swung open again.

“Why the hell didn’t we lock the front door?” I growled at Red.

“If you wouldn’t have jumped me the second the delivery guy left, I would have,” Red mumbled back.

“Whoa.” Angela walked in and put her hand over her eyes. “What in the hell's going on here?” she demanded.

Yup, Red’s sister was all I needed right now. I had gone from only Red seeing me topless to now his ex and his sister. Perfect.

“Well, I own the place. Tara is my woman, and Monica was leaving because she’s not welcome here,” Red called. “What are you doing here?” he asked Angela.

Angela still had her hand over her eyes and turned her back to us. “Uh, I was driving by and saw Monica’s car parked next to your bike. I was making sure you weren’t making the biggest mistake of your life and cheating on Tara.”

“I’m insulted you would even think that,” Red growled. “You think I would go from fucking perfection to trash?”

Monica gasped loudly and reared back as if Red had punched her.

I, on the other hand, swooned.

“Well, no, but empires have been brought down by trashy tits,” Angela retorted.

I tipped my head to the side. “What?” I wasn’t exactly an expert on history, but I didn’t think empires fell from a pair of tits.

“I’m leaving,” Monica screeched.

“Good,” Red and Angela called in unison.

“Bye,” I sang and waved.

She stomped her foot again, angry, as if we were going to beg her to stay. “You’re never going to see me again, Red,” she warned.

“That a promise, Monica?” He folded his arms over his chest and glared at her.

She flounced to the door and brushed past Angela. “You were a lousy lay anyway,” she mumbled under her breath.

I raised my hand in the air. “I can attest to the fact that you are a damn liar.” Red was hands down the best lay I had and would ever have.

Monica let out a frustrated scream and charged out the door.

“That was surprising and wildly entertaining,” Angela laughed.

“You can leave, too,” Red called. “Everything is fine here. I’m not going to have a lapse in judgment and ruin the good thing I got going, Angela.”

Angela raised her fist over her head. “Good, good. I’ll lock the door behind me, and I will see you tomorrow. Bye, Tara.”

“Uh, bye,” I called.

She walked out, and I didn’t move until I heard the lock click into place.

My shoulders sagged, and I let out the breath I didn’t realize I had been holding. “Oh my god, Red!” I hollered. “Could that have been more of a train wreck?” I dropped my arms and motioned at my bare breasts. “Yeah, nope. That was the worst it could have been. Your ex and sister just saw me topless.”
