Page 29 of KAI Tortured

“I was… I was out of commission. Feeling sorry for myself, fucked up. Our plan was to annihilate the Slavs, and instead, they got you.” Kai nods in my direction. “And all the other shit that happened. I just couldn’t handle it, baby girl.”

“Eventually we’d have gotten you back, Maisy. We just didn’t know you’d beat us to it.” Orion reassures her.

She leans into Kai’s chest again. “I haven’t had a shower all this time. They didn’t let me wash up. They told me some men preferred me dirty. They were just waiting for the right time.”

None of us seem to know what to say.

“I’m sorry for reeking of garbage.”

“Don’t worry, baby girl. You don’t smell at all,” Kai comforts her.

“What’s important is that they didn’t harm you. As for the smell, that’s easy. Shall I run you a bath?” I offer. I search for her eyes, and upon landing in her abyss, smile at her.

She nods and starts to get off Kai’s lap. “I’d love to. I just wanna be clean.”

“Can you manage by yourself?” Kai asks.

“I think so.”

I spring to my feet, quickly grasping her hand. “Are you hungry?”

“No. Maybe I’ll have something later if you don’t mind.”

“Sure. Anytime.”

I take Maisy to Orion’s room to use his ensuite. It has the biggest bath as well as a shower. “Take off your dress, and feel free to throw it out. I’ll get someone to get your clothes from Orion’s house. Is that okay?”

“Sure.” She strips down to nothing in a blink. I notice how bony her body is; it’s different from months ago. Also, very dirty.

I lean down to prepare her bath, but seeing her naked body rouses the usual fire inside me. My sweatpants twitch from my cock growing so fast.

Once I’m happy with the temperature of the water, I straighten up.

“Have a nice bath, Maisy.” I stroke her cheek and she leans into my hand. “I’m glad you’re here. With us. It’s saved us the trouble of getting shot at again.”

She smiles. “You’re funny.”

“I’m gonna leave now, or else I’d have to take a bath with you. Your towels are here.” I point to the one hanging on the rail, getting warm. “And everything else you need, you’ll find in the cabinet. I’ll see you when you’re finished.”

I leave her to it and close the door behind me. Back in the living room, I find both Kai and Orion sitting in tense silence.

“What did I miss?”

“This idiot here got me doubting everything,” Orion grumbles.

“I only said ‘imagine if Maisy is…’ I could’ve meant a ton of stuff.”

“We have a spare kit, right?” I remind Orion.

“Of course.” Orion heads for the shelves next to the TV and picks up a few boxes. He opens one and passes it to Kai. “Here, swab a sample from inside your cheek and get it ready for send-off. Let’s double check your DNA.”

“You got one for Maisy?” Kai asks.

“Here it is. Logan, go get a swab from her right now. I want the results tonight.”

“Sure. Before I forget, can you get someone to bring her clothes from your house? Like, as soon as possible?”

“The Cartes are staying in my house. I can arrange for them to be delivered in the next half hour.” Orion pulls out his cell and starts texting.
