“He’s very much alive. The last I heard, he and his brothers had moved to Alaska.”

“Are you sure?”

Max nodded.

Knowing that the man Rayna named as her father was alive should have made Zora happy. But again, he was just a man in a story. Perhaps she would feel differently about it down the line but she definitely had to tell her mother about it.

“Wow.”

“I’m sorry to spring this on you.” Max said with concern etched on his face.

Zora shook her head. “Don’t worry about it. It’s a surprise but it’s something I’ll need to process. I’m sure the news will affect my mother more than anyone else. She’d probably like to know.”

“We can find his contact information and send it along to you if you’d like. I’m sure he would be happy to meet you. From my understanding, he and his brother married normal eventually but none of them lasted. I think that’s why they decided to take off to the wilds of Alaska.” Max explained.

“Yes, thanks, I’d like that.”

Later that night when her houseguests were settling down for the night Zora and her men did the dishes. She washed, while Gavin dried and Heath and Logan put them away.

“I think we had a successful night. Your parents are awesome,” Zora sighed, please with how everything had gone.

“Well, they certainly liked you. But how could they not.” Gavin winked at her.

“How do you feel about your father being alive?”

Zora shrugged. “I’m still processing it. But for now, I just want to focus on the four of us. You know, this time last year, my Nana was dying and I was facing the prospect of being all alone again. But by some divine intervention the three of your came into my life and I couldn’t be happier. I love you and I’m looking forward to spending the rest of my life, here in your arms.

Her men moved in to give her a hug. Zora felt safe in their arms. This was where she was meant to me. Always and forever.
