She straightened her clothing and put her panties back on. Thankfully her makeup was still intact and the hair that locks were freshly twisted. Once she presentable again, Zora took a deep breath and headed out to the living room to meet her in-laws.
The first thing she noticed was how tall everyone was, even the women. Though there were twelve people, she could tell where her men had gotten their impressive height. Zora had always been the tallest girl in her class growing up but these people dwarfed her making her feel petite. Besides being giants, everyone was also exceptionally attractive. It was no wonder all her men were so handsome. With genes like that how could they be anything but? The twelve new comers seemed to assess her as the silence stretched and Zora nervously fidgeted with her hands. As if sensing her uneasiness, her men moved to her side. Logan and Heath flanked her left side and Gavin the other.
“This is Zora,” Gavin did the introductions. “Zora, that’s my mother Joan and my fathers, Gerald, Max, and Alan. Joan had short black hair like and was athletically built. She had friendly eyes.
“It’s very nice to meet you, Zora.” Joan walked toward Zora and gave her a tight hug. “I’m so happy they found you.”
Zora was immediately comforted by the other woman’s warmth. Her mates all nodded and said their hellos.
“These are my parents,” Heath continued the introduction. “My mom Linda and my dads, Collin, Ross and George.” Linda was tall and willowy, with wavy brown hair and warm brown eyes. She too gave Zora a hug. Her mates greeted Zora kindly as well.
“And finally, my parents. My mother, Melissa and dads, Michael, Justin and Roger.” Melissa had long blonde hair that was pulled back in a ponytail. She seemed to be the more reserved of the three woman, but her greeting was just as sincere as the other two.
“Well, I’m really happy to meet you all and I hope everyone is comfortable during their stay.”
Joan smiled. “Oh, I’m sure we’ll enjoy our time here and getting to know you.” She took Zora’s hand in hers. “I can tell you’re nervous dear, but you have no need to be. I know we’re going to get along just fine. And seeing you in person, I can see why our sons are so crazy about you. Our boys were telling us all about the renovations you’ve been doing to the house. Why don’t you show us around and the boys can chat.”
While Zora was led off by her mothers-in-law, her men stayed behind with their fathers. She glanced over her shoulders as she headed out the room. Gavin, Logan and Heath were staring at her approval, warmth and lust. She knew that later that night she wouldn’t be getting much sleep.

“Zora, everything was lovely tonight. Dinner was amazing. Do you think you want to come live with us? You can have free reign of the kitchen,” Michael joked.
Melissa and Logan both shot him narrowed-eyed stares.
“Not a chance, Dad.” Logan growled.
“And if you take one more shot at my cooking, you’re going to be locked out of my bedroom for a month.” Melissa warmed.
Michael bowed his head and mumbled, “Yes, dear,” as he returned his attention to the butter pecan cake Zora had made for dessert. It was one of her Nana’s recipes she used to make for special occasions. Zora had wanted to impress her in-laws so she’d been in the kitchen most of the day to make them a meal they wouldn’t soon forget.
As the evening progressed, Zora had become more relaxed about her new relatives. They were all nice and genuine. She could see bits of their personalities that their sons had inherited. Currently they all sat around the table enjoying dessert and after dinner drinks.
“Well, as much as I’m flattered that you enjoy my cooking. I don’t cook like this all the time. Gavin does a lot of the cooking around here. I just wanted to impress you all.”
“Well color me impressed young lady,” Gerald, Gavin’s father said with a smile.
“It’s my understanding that your mother has been staying here with you guys. Where is she?” Linda asked.
“She recently reconnected with some cousins and decided to visit them. She didn’t want to be in the way. Those were her words, not mine,” Zora explained.
“I’m assuming she’s one of us as well? Am I correct?” Linda asked.
“Yes. It’s a long story but I only found out about my heritage when I met your sons. It’s something my mother kept from me. I didn’t even know that the man who I thought was my father wasn’t.”
“Do you know who your father is? The Kelowna isn’t a large group so most of us know each other,” Melissa prodded.
“I just have a name and from my understanding he was killed. But that’s another story,” Zora sighed. She didn’t feel one way or other about the man she’d never met. One day she might feel some sort of regret for never meeting him but for now he was just a story.”
“What was his name, dear?” Joan asked.
“Wanamaker. Calvin I think.”
All of her in-laws exchanged confused looked with each other.
“Calvin Wanamaker? Are you sure?” Max asked.
“Yes, positive.”
