"I never said what exactly I planned to do," I said as I turned on the water and stepped under it, letting the spray remove the sweat from my body. "We’ll clean up, and then I’ll make you come on that counter. There's plenty of space for that."
Her eyes widened as she sucked in her cheeks. "Maddox, that's not what I thought you had in mind, especially with this." She glanced down at my erection and squeezed it hard.
I groaned, stepping even closer. The water was now pleasantly warm, so I pulled her under it too.
"I'm dying to have you again, Cami. But even more than sinking inside you, I want to watch you come. You're so damn beautiful.”
"Maddox, the things you say... I wasn't expecting this."
"Neither was I," I confessed. "Everything about you took me by surprise in the best damn way. But I’ll pace myself. We can wait until later so you don’t get sore."
She smirked. “Oh, so thoughtful.”
“Always.”
After we'd cleaned up, I grabbed one of the small towels and started patting her back before moving to her front.
"You're very thorough. This is fun. I like it."
"So do I."
She took my hand, leading me to the living room. "The snow is actually working in our favor, you know. Otherwise, neighbors would drive by. Rumors would start spreading. They're not used to seeing cars parked overnight in front of my house."
"You don't usually have guests over?" I asked.
She turned around, putting her hands on my shoulders. "Is that a general question, or do you mean male guests?"
I cleared my throat, but my reply still sounded like a growl. "You know what I mean."
"No, I usually don't invite anyone over. I probably haven’t since my last relationship ended. And that was about four years ago."
"And since then?" I asked.
She shrugged. "I don't know. Casual dating, I guess. It's really hard meeting new people in Essex." She wiggled her eyebrows. "See, you've got that going for you."
"Don't forget my cockiness," I said with a grin.
"That too." She went to the kitchen and poured a glass of water. "Have you had any serious relationships?"
"No. Hence why my gran thinks she needs to give us a nudge. None of us have been in a serious relationship. Or at least, not what she'd consider serious. That’s why she started playing matchmaker.”
“You’re joking.”
“Not even one bit.”
She burst out laughing at that, and I joined her.
The wind slowed down after that, and the rain seemed to have stopped.
"Think the storm will die out soon?” she asked.
“Sounds like that.”
“Let me check the weather forecast.” Grabbing her phone, she tapped on the screen. “Yeah. It says in the Facebook group that the storm is stopping and we should expect to see snowplows cleaning the roads over the next few hours. So, I guess you’re still stuck here for a while.”
I smiled wolfishly. "I can keep us both more than occupied."
