“The picture they showed us does you no justice, girl.” He leers at Willow from head to toe, causing her to take a step back. “You’ve got the whole brotherhood out looking for you.”
“No. No. It can’t be,” Willow whispers, tears beginning to fall down her face.
“Master Griffin sends his regards. He’s most upset about the way you ruined his initiation. He has plans for you once you return home. And now he’ll know I’ve found you. In Elementra.” Jerod lets out a sickening laugh as he stomps his boot against the ground hard, red smoke cascading out of his shoe.
“Get him out of here,” I roar as my team takes him to the ground.
“It’s too late. He knows where you are now, girl. He’ll collect what’s his,” Jerod shouts, staring right at Willow’s trembling form as the team transports him out.
Turning to check on her, she’s standing there frozen, eyes wide, fearful. I’ve never seen her so afraid.
“He’s here… He knows where I am… He’s going to kill me.”
