Vail’s body shook with a laugh. “That’s because you’re lying on me and not the couch.”

“Same difference.”

“I beg to differ. A bed would be appreciated.”

“Fine,” I groaned. My dick had already slipped free of him. Leaving his warmth was awful. I wanted to stay plastered to him to soak him in.

“Come on,” Jordan said.

I leaned heavily against him until he bent down and lifted me, one arm at my back and another under my knees. My eyes flew open as he started walking toward the stairs. “What are you doing?” I squeaked.

“You’re tired and I want to care for you.”

“Is this you doing your feelings without words thing again?”

He nodded, but his jaw ticked. One day, I’d drag more words from him. Until then, I’d take his actions. They meant just as much.

I put my arm around his neck, holding on. Jordan wouldn’t drop me. That much I knew for certain.

We entered his bedroom and went through to his bathroom, where Vail turned on the shower and Jordan sat on the tiled bench within. Jordan didn’t let me go, so I stayed on his lap and washed him and Vail the best I could. He put me down to dry off, which I appreciated. Getting into bed still wet wasn’t pleasant. I didn’t like the way the sheets stuck to my skin.

As we stood in Jordan’s bedroom, I wondered if I’d go back to the room I stayed in before. Sure, last night I stayed in here, but it was different now the three of us were together. Vail must have thought the same thing because he stood silently beside me.

Jordan sighed. “Do you two really think I want you anywhere else but here? Get into bed. I’m going to call Raiden to take the dog for a walk. I’ll also have someone bring Tahoe here. We need sleep and I don’t want either of you to go anywhere. This is where you belong. With me. With each other.”

He gave us both a long look before leaving the room. Vail and I climbed onto the bed, and this time, it was his body wrapping around mine. I loved it just as much as when it was the other way around and we were still on the couch.

JORDAN

“But… But…” Hartley’s eyes were comically big as he looked around the space I’d offered him for his studio.

Two floors with the top open to the bottom, expansive room for him to do as he pleased, and tall windows to let in enough light for him to never feel like he was closed in. This was the perfect place for him to have his studio. He could use it as a retail space as well if he chose to do so. I wasn’t certain what his business plan was, but this should do for a while.

“It’s too much,” he said.

“Nonsense. There’s no such thing where you and Vail are concerned.”

Vail stepped up beside me and put his arm around my waist. “This is beautiful. The floors are gorgeous.” They were tile made to look like hardwood with hues of gray and deep browns. They held up much better than wood. When I redid a space, I didn’t half-ass it.

“There’s central air and heat. A security system to rival the one in my building.” The alarm system was new. I didn’t bother bringing that up. Hartley would say it was too much again. He would have a guard on him whenever he was out of my building. The same with Vail. Vail wouldn’t like it, but when someone had an acquaintance with me, they also became a target. These men would go nowhere unprotected.

“Jordan…” Hartley whispered. When he turned again, tears shimmered in his eyes. “After everything happened with my grandfather, I didn’t think I’d see a space like this for a long time. Are you sure you want to give this to me? I can’t pay the rent it could bring in.”

“You won’t pay me a dime. This is yours.” I lifted the phone from my pocket and sent a quick text to Lana, my lead attorney. She had her own firm and a team of lawyers who worked for her. She would file the paperwork to have this put in Hartley’s name. I still owned the rest of the building, but this… this was his, as was the apartment above it on the third floor.

I’d like to think I’d have Vail and Hartley with me for the rest of my days, but my track record was shit with relationships. They wouldn’t come after me or my son, although they might not want to be with me forever. When that time came, I had to know they would be taken care of. Vail kept his home, and now Hartley had this.

He nodded. “I’m going to pay rent.”

“You don’t understand. You own this and the apartment above it. You’re free to rent it out or leave it as your own personal getaway from everything. Whatever you’d like to do with it.”

“But…”

Vail chuckled. “Say thank you, Hart. Apparently, Jordan knows no bounds when it comes to us.” That was what it meant to be mine. They would always receive what they needed. He leaned close to whisper, “If you buy me a building, I’ll sell it.”

A smile quirked the corner of my lips. Vail had plenty of money. While I wouldn’t buy him a building, I’d find other ways to spoil him.
