When she gasped to take in air, his tongue swept in and showed her how he liked her to kiss. It boggled his mind that everything sexual they did together would be her first time. He was working with a blank sheet so she would have no other man’s touch in her mind, just his.

He lifted his head and stared down at her. Her eyes were closed, and her lips were wet and puffy. It felt like his world tilted, and his breath caught in his lungs. By damn, she was the prettiest woman he’d ever seen, and the more time he spent with her, the more he liked her.

The word “love” kept circling in his mind. He knew it was too soon to think like that, but he knew he’d be falling in love with her sooner rather than later. The fact that the idea didn’t freak him out told him she was the woman he’d been waiting for.

He cupped her face. “Open your eyes, Sweetheart.”

He was charmed when she blinked several times before she focused on him. He also caught the red tint on her face—some from desire and some from embarrassment.

Caden pressed a tender kiss to her lips. “I think we should stop. I don’t want to test my strength when it comes to you. The last thing I want to do is scare you away. So, let’s get some sleep. There is plenty of time for the loving.” He waited until her breathing calmed, and she nodded before turning her on her side and wrapping his much larger one around hers.

Before he closed his eyes, he pressed his lips against the back of her head and inhaled her scent. Damn, even her scent drove him crazy. He heard her breathing even out and deepen before he gave into his own sleep.

Chapter Eleven

They awoke early in the afternoon and made more sandwiches. Bella noticed how much he touched her. It was every time he got close. Not that she minded. She loved his hands on her. But it was messing with her body’s equilibrium because her desire would start to grow before he moved away. It was almost making her dizzy.

Caden took her to Cat and Macy’s door and knocked.

Cat opened the door and grinned. “Come on in.”

“I have to go downstairs, but call me if you need me,” Caden said.

Bella nodded.

Caden studied her. “I’ll see you in a few hours. I want you to remember that nothing downstairs will hurt you. The girls and the guys will be around you all night.”

She nodded. That did make her feel better.

He cupped the back of her head to hold it still while he made love to her mouth. When he finally lifted his head, her legs felt weak and unable to sustain her weight. Her scrambled brain finally started to settle when Cat snorted and then laughed.

“I’ll see you soon,” Caden said and walked off.

Bella watched him until the elevator doors closed. When she turned to face Cat, she could feel her face grow hot with embarrassment, making Cat chuckle again.

“Come on, girl,” Cat said. “We’re going to play cards for a bit and then get dressed.”

Bella inhaled and walked into the condo. Something felt like it tugged at her heart when Hannah ran to her and hugged her.

“Hey, sister from another mister,” Hannah said and laughed.

“I like that. I’ve always wanted a sister,” Bella said.

“Well, now you have two of them,” Cat said and hugged her. “Do you know how to play poker?”

Bella shook her head.

Cat grinned. “Awesome. I’ll teach you.”

Hannah snorted. “Bella, watch her. She likes to cheat.”

Cat gasped. “I do not!”

Hannah pressed her lips together, crossed her arms over her chest, and started tapping her toe. It didn’t take long for Cat to sigh in defeat.

“Okay, fine. I might cheat a little, but you guys need to learn that if you’re going to play with the men.”

Bella frowned. “Why?”
