We just need a chance.

Navy’s voice is hesitant, “Good morning?”

When she looks at me and sees where I’m looking, she glances down and gasps. The way she grabs the sheet and covers her breasts is so damn cute. Then there’s the blush that covers the top of her chest and neck.

Her hand goes to her face, and she lets out a groan, “Fuck, I didn’t take my makeup off.”

“No,” Rites teases her, “you passed out after we made you come harder than you ever have before.”

She turns her attention to him and glares, but he’s not even a little bit bothered by it. The way he shrugs and winks at her makes her glare harder and I can’t help but chuckle.

Our woman rolls her eyes before huffing out a breath and tightens her grip on the sheet. She glances at Spark and frowns slightly when he doesn’t react at all.

Don’t get me wrong, Spark is a quiet man who has mastered hiding his emotions because of his position, but he doesn’t need to do that when it comes to our woman.

She seems to shake off whatever his lack of reaction is about and starts to slide to the edge of the bed. Before her feet can hit the ground, I clear my throat. Her face tilts in my direction and offers me a small, shy smile.

Fuck, I just want to wrap her up in my arms and never let her go. I know I can’t though; not yet.

“Well, that was fun,” Navy’s voice is hesitant and a little wary.

It makes me want to beat the shit out of Spark, but I can’t say that I don’t understand why he’s struggling. There’s a big difference between sharing a woman between us for a night of fun and forever. I have faith that he’ll come around and get his shit together.

“We want to see you again,” I blurt.

Navy’s eyebrows shoot up to her hairline and she studies me closely. “I’m not sure?”

Rites slides closer to her and wraps an arm around her waist to pull her back into his chest. “We do want to see you again, Siren,” he whispers against her neck.

The way she shivers in his arms makes me want to smile, but I’m too worried that she’s going to turn us down right now.

What are we going to do if she doesn’t want to see us again? I know she’s it for me. I won’t be giving up and I have a feeling Rites won’t either.

I’m a little surprised with how committed my brother is with our woman. The list of the things that he takes seriously is very fucking short. Really, it’s just the club and even then, he loves to fuck around. Still, I wouldn’t hesitate to put my life in his hands.

He’s a force when he’s pissed off and I would not want to be on his bad side. Not at all. He would kill someone without thinking twice about it and then crack a joke over the body.

Navy’s eyes stray toward Spark. His face is an unreadable mask that has me internally groaning. Her voice is unsure, “Are you sure?”

“Of course,” my tone tells her exactly how sure I am about things, but she doesn’t look at me as she keeps her eyes locked on Spark.

If he ruins this for us I’m going to kick his ass, Prez or not.

“We want to see you again,” he practically spits the terse words from his mouth.

“Don’t mind him, Navy,” Rites murmurs against her skin where his face is still buried in her neck. “He’s a grump in the morning. Always has been. I bet he just needs some coffee.”

The smile that lifts her lips is forced as fuck and I hate it. I want all of her smiles to be genuine and pointed directly at me.

I have no doubt that he doesn’t have to look at our Prez to know exactly what is going on. They were friends even longer than I’ve been friends with them.

Sure, they saved my life in many ways because my parents didn’t give a flying fuck about me or my sister. That’s what has earned them and the club my loyalty up to this point. Still, this is our future we’re talking about.

A future that could be so damn bright. As I look at our woman, I can see the possibilities and the happiness. She is the light that we need.

She’ll shelter us in the storm. She’ll give us a reason to keep moving forward. She’ll remind us that there is good in the world when everything feels like darkness.

Not to mention she trusted us enough to explore a kink she had never tried before. That can’t be bought, and it doesn’t come around all the time.
