She laughs. “Because you are going to get out of this basement and get me. Oh, I’m shaking in my boots. My days of being scared of you are over, Ricky. Over.”

She draws her arm back and with her clenched fist she punches him in the face, then she lifts up her leg and kicks him in the balls. His chair falls backwards as he screams.

Meg then turns to us both and smiles. “I’ll be waiting for you in bed later guys. Don’t forget to make him suffer, cut off his dick and feed it to him for me.” She comes over, kisses both of us and walks out.

Looking at Cash, I smile. “That’s our girl.”

Cash smiles too. “Too fucking right, she is.”

We’ve been down here for about an hour after Meg left. Ricky has no dick, we cut it up and made him swallow it. There is blood, piss and shit everywhere.

Shadow appears out of nowhere. “Nice job guys.”

“Well you made a mess of him before we started.” Cash laughs. Shadow is ruthless.

“I tried my best, he wouldn’t listen to instructions, so I had to make him.” He looks over at Ricky and Ricky visibly pales.

“Do you want to finish the job, or do you want me to do it for you?” Shadow loves blood and will cause havoc wherever he goes.

I look at Cash. “This one is ours. Usually I’d give him to you, but this is personal.”

Shadow walks close to me and slaps me on the shoulder. “Next time.” Then he walks out.

“He lives for the kill,” Cash says staring at his back as he leaves. “He would never be able to leave the darkness behind. I pity any woman who gets close to him, she is going to have a lot of walls to break down first.”

“He loves death too much to find love, Cash.”

We both laugh as we step forward ready to end Ricky’s miserable life.

Epilogue

SIX WEEKS LATER – SHADOW

Looking around the clubhouse I see my brothers with their old ladies. Even Cash and Ramsey found someone to share between them who they love. Their relationship may be different, but I can’t help but feel happy for them.

I never want to have someone like that in my life. I live for the kill and the only woman I would protect with my life is my sister, Bryony. She doesn’t hang around the clubhouse, I don’t let her. I don’t want her with a brother, even though I know that they would protect her life. She doesn’t need to see everything that happens here. It’s not for her.

My phone pings with a message just as I’m thinking about her.

Bryony: Hey Mase, so I have something to tell you

It’s never good when she says that.

Mason: What?

Bryony: Can I ring you? Are you free or are you doing your biker shit?

This is another reason I don’t let her come to the clubhouse, she doesn’t respect or understand what we do as an MC.

I dial her number.

“Hey, Mase.”

“Bri what’s going on?” I don’t have time for this shit.

“So, I was at a party the other night...”
