“Yes, yes! Mine. My mate,” he growled as we fell off into blissful oblivion together.

His dick was still hard when he withdrew, and I felt bereft without him. He slid out of bed, wetting a cloth in the bathroom sink and returning to gently clean the residue of our lovemaking from my skin.

“Here, mate,” he murmured, gently.

Menon tidied us both, then treated me to soft touches and caresses, while he covered us both with his blanket, and pulled me on top of him.

I was boneless, sated to my very marrow. I kissed his chest, his neck, then pressed my lips to his as I looked down into his beautiful, glowing eyes.

“What is it, love?”

“I just never realized I could be this happy,” I said. “I mean, I was always the odd one out. The chubby girl with no talent—”

“Luna,” he warned.

“No, let me finish,” I said, and giggled, feeling maybe a little bit smug and eternally grateful for his ready defense of me. “I just mean, I never had a place I belonged until I met you.”

“That is because you were made for me, and I was made for you. Twin flames, that’s what we are,” he whispered. “But are you sure you are all right with everything? I mean, with me eventually taking up my position in Asgard and asking you to come with me?”

“Yes, I am all right with it. I am more than all right with it,” I told him truthfully.

And I was. We had a ways to go yet for that, but I looked forward to our life together. The fact I didn’t have to wait to start was just icing on the cake.

EPILOGUE

Sten/Menon

“Hey, Sten, where did you want me to drop the modules for inputting lunar phases in the Nephilim realm?” Gunner asked from his desk a few feet away from mine.

I thought about it for a minute, then sent him the correct files so he could input the information. I could hardly believe my once sworn enemy was now a crucial part of the development team working on my Celestial Mapping program. With support from Professor McEwan, my idea had gone from a purely academic study to a full-fledged business with working apps, and multi-versal access to the skies.

My brother, Erik, was even on board, while our father stayed behind, keeping my position for me back in Asgard. He and Ingrid came to Northumberland Island, and I introduced my one time crush to my mate without any hesitation at all.

It had been rule number one after we’d claimed each other. No secrets, followed by the equally important, no lies. There were none I would want to keep from my Luna, anyway. She was everything to me. The most important part of my life, and I welcomed each night we were together with open arms.

Switching to an all nocturnal schedule made life much easier for both of us. We were simply fashioned for thriving at night. My powers hinged on the moon, and my Lunar Witch seemed just as energized by nighttime. Every evening seemed to bring about some new discovery for my sweet Luna, and I was blessed to be able to share in it with her.

“Hello, Gunner,” she said, bouncing through the door and jogging over to me.

“What are you doing here? I thought you had another class after Divination?”

“It got canceled,” she said, greeting me with a smile and jumping into my arms.

I caught her, of course, taking her weight easily as I cupped her ass and kissed her thoroughly.

“Do you mind? Some of us are alone in life and don’t need to see your mushy display of grossness,” Gunner groaned, though he wasn’t looking away.

I growled at him, but the Werewolf just gave me the finger, mumbling something about a weak blue dumbass with a sorry excuse for a snarl.

Luna giggled, and my gaze snapped to her.

“Oh, you think he’s funny? You might have just earned yourself a spanking, my Luna,” I growled, nipping her lip, and kissing her deeply.

I didn’t miss the heat that filled her moonbeam bright eyes, or the way her thighs tightened around my waist.

So, she liked the idea of a spanking?

That was very good to know.
