“Come on. I’ll walk you to your door.” I smile, wrapping my arm around her shoulders.

“Thank you.” She says back shyly.

“You’re welcome.” I lean a little closer, getting a whiff of her shampoo. “You know, there’s a pod of dolphins that swim by the point just a few miles from here every morning around sunrise. Would you like to go with me to see them tomorrow?”

I watch as her eyes widen with interest. “Dolphins? Really? I’ve never seen them in the wild before. Just on T.V. Yes, I’d like to go with you.” She answers and I release the breath I didn't realize that I was holding. I want to spend more time with her, get to know her better.

It doesn’t take us long to get back to her condo next door to Sweet Cocktails. I make a note of which door I leave her at so I’ll know which one to knock on in the morning.

As we say good night, I see her watching my lips and I want so badly to kiss her but I hold myself back. I’ve never been the type to rush into anything with someone. Hell, it took nearly a year for me to finally call August my friend.

Finally pulling up at my house, I let myself inside and head straight for my bathroom for a quick shower which winds up taking a bit longer than that once my mind starts wandering back to Piper.

With my soapy hand, I squeeze the head of my cock imaging her on her knees in front of me, begging with those large sparkling eyes of hers.

Thrusting into my hand, it only takes a minute for my cum to shoot out of me with a grunt.

“It’s never been that fucking quick before.” I complain, looking down at my now flaccid cock in my hand with disgust.

With a shake of my head, I get back to washing off and get out of the shower.

Checking on Mocha, I shut the doggy door before heading to bed. I’ve got a date first thing in the morning.

Piper

Rome walked me all the way to my door last night and I thought for sure he was going to kiss me but instead he simply said goodnight.

I stayed up later than I wanted to, second guessing whether he’d show up this morning for our trip to see the dolphins.

He showed up right on time though and we got into his car for the short drive to an area known by the locals as the point.

“We have to walk from here but don’t worry, it’s not that far.” He grins, pulling to a stop in a small parking area.

Getting out, I fall into step next to Rome as we walk out onto the beach. I can see a rocky area in the distance that reaches further out into the water than the beach does.

The sun is just barely coming up on the horizon, glinting across the water that is now so calm that it appears like glass.

“I brought some binoculars just in case they are a little further out so you can see them better. The pod is a large one and I think I noticed a new baby with them a little more than a week ago.” He says.

“Oh, wow. I can’t wait to see them.” I say with giddiness.

My heart beats with excitement with each step that we take. I’ve never seen a dolphin up close before. This will probably be my only chance to do so.

“I think they are the most majestic creatures in the ocean. I usually come down here to watch them at least once a week since coming here.” He grins.

“How long have you been here?” I ask.

“A couple of years now.”

“Where are you from originally?”

“Texas.” He drawls out dramatically with a huge grin that makes me laugh. “What about you? Where are you from?”

“I’ve lived in Tennessee my whole life.”

“You’ve never wanted to live anywhere else?” He asks.

“Well, I’ve actually been thinking about that a lot lately. Especially since breaking up with my now ex.” I grit out the last bit through my teeth still seething over that asshole.
