“Fuck,” I whisper. Taking a deep breath, I blast panic down the bond, knowing it’ll make Shaw and Amb come running.

Doors fly open down the hallway I was just in as my pack rushes toward me.

“I can’t feel Flynn,” Amb says, dark eyes wide. His scent feels acrid as he glares at Jasper. “What happened?”

“Wren and Flynn went to the bathroom. I stood against the wall, and it should have been impossible, but someone snuck up and knocked me out,” Jasper says. “I can’t… fuck, I can’t lose my sister again.”

“He’s got a pretty bad head wound,” I tell them gently, struggling to keep my cool.

Omegas begin to filter into the house now that the meeting is over, and Jodi walks over to us, brows knitting.

“Something wrong?” she asks.

“Our omegas are missing,” Shaw grunts. “Please tell Corbin, and lock down the house. I’m pulling up the tracker I have on them. Do you know how long you’ve been knocked out for?”

“At least thirty minutes,” Jasper grunts. “Did you say tracker?”

Jodi hides a smile, knowing exactly how insanely protective alphas can be, especially made men.

“I’ll tell the security to…” Jodi looks around, frowning. “Where the hell are they all?”

“Everyone on the ground now!” one of the security men yells, walking out with a huge gun and firing at the ceiling.

“Fucking traitors,” Jasper mutters, pulling his gun and shooting the man in head. That's what happens when people forget that certain people retained their weapons, and the omegas were never searched.

Security rushes out as the mafia men and omegas fill the space looking confused, and I raise my voice.

“My omegas are missing, and we’ve been betrayed by our security!” I yell, getting everyone’s attention as they turn toward the men attempting to surround us. Pulling my knife in this situation, so I don’t accidentally hurt anyone, I watch as both omegas and alphas do the same, readying to take out the damn trash.

“That’s the last time I accept outside help for security,” one of the Kelly’s grunts as he falls into line with me, gutting a guard who attempts to grab him.

“I need more than that,” I tell him, dodging a punch. Fuck, it’s like they’re coming from everywhere. Jodi’s daughter is grabbed across the room, causing her to scream as she kicks and flails. Thankfully, she’s not a damsel in distress, managing to get away.

She and her father make quick work of killing him, making me shake my head. Yeah, I wouldn’t want to meet Pack Ryan on the wrong end of a fight.

“The security service we use for an event backed out on us at the last minute,” Duncan Kelly states. “I got a call back from them with a number for this service, so I took it.”

“Fuck, I know you didn’t do this on purpose, but I may kill you if I don’t find my mates,” I growl, pulling my gun from my ankle and shooting one of the guards in the head.

Kelly rightly blanches as he realized Flynn and Wren may have been taken, and this security team helped. Seeing Shaw, I wade over to him through the sea of chaos, ducking and dispatching guards as I go. I’ll let Duncan Kelly stew in the weight of his mistakes while I find out why Shaw is currently beating the fuck out of Crowson Murphy.

“What’s going on here?” I bark, keeping my head on a swivel as I make sure no one is going to bother us in this corner as the fight rages on around us.

“Fucker was trying to sneak out,” Shaw grunts. “He’s been texting someone nonstop during our breaks. How likely do you think that he’s responsible for this?”

“Here’s my knife. It doesn’t appear as if your fists are doing much to convince him,” I say with a smile I don’t mean. Shaw bares his teeth at me in thanks as he pulls back Crowson’s hair.

“Who were you texting all this time?” Shaw asks. “Tell me.”

Crowson laughs wildly, not even trying to get away at this point.

“You won’t be able to find them,” he crows. “He’s been looking for her since he sold her, and I just helped things along.”

“Did you have anything to do with these guards?” I ask, kicking one in the face who is getting too close to us.

“That was a stroke of brilliance,” he cackles. “I had a feeling this may not go my way. Then, I smelled the omega, and knew she was Trey’s.”

“What the fuck. After what happened to your omega, why would you do this to us?” I ask. My fingers are twitching to kill him, but it’s obvious there are too many unanswered questions.
