My pussy clenches around them, trying to suck them farther in as I swallow the screams wanting to force their way out. Bracing myself on Savin’s chest, I find my rhythm, Macon picking up his pace until he’s slamming into me, and forcing those screams out into the open.

I’m falling apart in a chorus of pleas and soft demands, Savin joining in as he rubs my clit, both of us coming together. The orgasm barrels through me, my entire body shaking with pleasure. Our Alpha spills into me seconds later and that’s when I feel it, the open gates of emotion running toward me.

A bond. Our bond.

My body shudders with the new sensation, gasps falling from my lips as I take it all. I can feel them. My mates. I blink several times as the bond settles, Macon slowly pulling me off of their cocks, their release gushing from me as a little giggle falls from me. “Oh, that feels weird.”

Macon responds by laying me down in the nest, slowly running his hands up and down my torso. “How are you feeling, sweetheart?”

“I can feel you. I can feel you both.” It’s a little overwhelming and I silently thank Macon for setting me down because my head feels heavy with the new bond. Savin curls into my side, grinning. I can feel his happiness and his excitement. There’s a myriad of emotions that are just as complex as he is. And Macon, our beautiful protector—his fierce love and desire to keep us safe trickles through.

Bonds were never in my plan. But now that I have them, I’m not sure how I could have ever lived without them. “Goddess, you’re perfect, sweetheart.” Macon wraps himself around my other side, throwing his arm over me so that his hand is on Savin’s hip. It truly is perfect as our Alpha dips his lips to the bite on my shoulder, nursing it with his tongue until I shudder and come again, untouched.

I’m not surprised to wake up to Macon snapping his hips against Savin, both of them still half asleep. I must have been passed out not to hear them rustling around but their overwhelming need seeps through the bond, Savin barely moving at this point. The poor Omega’s body needs rest and yet his heat overpowers it.

Sitting up, my hands automatically fall to my stomach, reminding me that I need to make an appointment. Maybe my mates will offer to go with me when I mention it to them. My stomach grumbles, Savin and Macon’s attention snapping to me immediately. Well, that’s uncanny.

I don’t know if they can feel my hunger through the bond or my stomach is just obnoxiously loud but that’s a little unnerving. Macon chuckles as he nibbles on Savin’s ear. “I guess that means it’s time for breakfast.”

“Sure and a shower. I’m all sticky.” I wasn’t mad at the time but the morning after, everything is just a little… gross.

“A bath,” Savin offers and I’m immediately on board although Macon reminds us to shower first. I like that plan, although there will need to be food somewhere in between that because I am starving.

Sitting there, my mind wanders to last night and everything we’ll experience in the days to come. “What are you thinking, sweetheart?” Macon sits up, pulling Savin with him. It’s an odd thing to watch my Alpha currently knotting our Omega while holding a conversation but Savin does well to drag a blanket over his lap so I can focus.

“That it can’t be this easy. Just call the police and your mom’s out? One drug and Savin’s perfect? I want it to be. Goddess, I need it to be but after everything?” I’ve fought so hard to get to where I am—my degrees, my job, the apartment… Carleen has helped and been there every step of the way. Now, it just seems that a few decisions have cut away all the hardship and I’m just waiting for something to fall apart.

“We still have a few obstacles to weather. Aayla is no longer allowed anywhere near my work or my sets. Savin’s either. And once we meet with the detective, she won’t be allowed within a certain number of feet of you. As for the medication, one day at a time.” Macon presses a kiss to Savin’s cheek, moving his hair out of the way.

“Angel, I’m really okay. I feel a little sluggish but the random bouts of heat or the waves of pain haven’t happened in almost two days. There’s the shaking and the occasional dizziness but that’s nothing compared to everything else.”

I move over to him, cradling his cheeks in my hands. “You’re really okay?” He nods and I raise up on my knees to kiss him before sitting back. Now’s a better time to ask than any, right? “Would you guys like to come to my next appointment?” The wide smiles and sudden kisses give me my answer but I quickly bat them away as I scoot out of the nest. "Shower and food," I whine. Goddess, between the two of them, they'd keep me in the nest all day if they could.

Chapter forty-seven

ELLIE

Three days later, with Savin’s heat finished, I find myself sitting across from Detective Grayson as he goes through the details one last time. He frowns and scratches his head, staring at the report, then me, then the paper again. Macon and Savin are on either side of me, waiting for the detective to say something or at least respond to the account that we wrote up.

“Aayla really did this? I’m so fucking sorry, man. She was kind of a bitch when we dragged her in. You’ll be happy to know she spent the night in the cell for slapping one of the new hires. Should have seen her face. Although, you probably already know that.”

The tabloids haven’t been quiet about this messy affair, especially after learning that Aayla lived up to her name—the Astor witch. The house has been bombarded with apology cards and Macon showed me this morning how the public opinion has completely shifted in our favor as if they never hated us before.

I hate knowing that one mistake could upend everything we’ve worked for.

“I think I have everything I need. Just need you to fill out some paperwork and then you’re on your way to not having to deal with her anymore.”

I’m ecstatic to hear that Aayla won’t be a part of our lives but that also reminds me that I still have yet to tell my parents that I’m mated. And pregnant. Thank the goddess they don’t watch much TV or listen to the news. I’m hoping Carleen can deliver that blow for me. It’s not like they’ll travel here to congratulate me but I know that Macon will 100% put together a road trip to meet them. Not exactly what I want to spend my time doing but I owe it to my parents to show that I found my happy ending.

The detective releases us a few minutes later once Macon is done signing, all three of us piling into the car to head for the clinic my OB/GYN works out of. While Macon usually drives, he’s opted for a driver, both of my mates holding me between them to give me much-needed comfort. I know there’s nothing wrong with the babies but having them in the room will be a different experience.

Needing a distraction, I pull out my phone to text my sister.

Hey

Hey yourself. Appointment is today, right?

She must be keeping in touch with Macon to know that because I forgot to tell her when I made the appointment. I love that they’ve grown close.
