“Come on, Uncle, I want to take her virginity,” one of the younger men pleads. I’m not sure which, and I’m afraid to open my eyes.
“And why should you get that honor? Why shouldn’t it be me or your brother, for that matter?” I know that’s Liam. Even if he didn’t give it away with the words he spoke, or that the sound was coming from right beside me, his deep timber voice would.
“Please. I’ve always wanted to be with a virgin, and since this is my first auction, I thought the point of tonight was for me. I don’t mind sharing her, especially after what you told me, but it’s on my list,” he tells him.
“List? Killian, do you know what this list is that he’s talking about?” Okay, so it’s Kyrian who’s talking and wants to be the first to sleep with me. He does look closer to my age, and he’s not hard on the eyes, so it wouldn’t be that bad.
“Yeah, he has a sex list. It’s full of things he wants to do and he’s been marking them off since he lost his virginity. Him being with a virgin is on it.”
I shift, my neck beginning to ache at the angle it’s in.
“We’ll discuss it later. It seems my little mouse is eavesdropping on our conversation. A punishment may be in order when we get to the penthouse.” With Liam’s words, I open my eyes and sit upright, nervous about this punishment he spoke of.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to eavesdrop. I just didn’t want to interrupt, Sir.” Sir. It just rolled off my tongue so easily, so naturally. Why does he even want me to call him that? Does he see it as a term of respect since he’s older?
“So perfect isn’t she, boys? A novice and she caught on so quickly.”
The car slows, just before making a turn into a skyrise. This must be where the penthouse is. The car pulls into the parking garage and heads straight to the back, stopping in front of an elevator.
No one moves until the door opens, as if by magic. I’m not that clueless. I know it’s the driver, but damn, what a way to live where everything is done for you.
Liam gets out first, then extends his hand into the car for me. I take it as he squeezes it firmly and I step out onto the concrete. My legs feel like jelly not only from sitting for the ride, but from the nerves, and I stumble, falling right into his firm chest. He doesn’t make a sound, unlike the dying owl screech that comes from my mouth.
I’m so embarrassed, I don’t even notice the other two have stepped out and are beside us now.
“Let’s go,” Liam’s hoarse voice orders, as his hot breath blows the stray strands of hair that have fallen into my face.
He takes a step, pulling me behind him like a little girl who's in trouble. He did say I need a punishment. I can feel the heat rising to my face and lift my free hand to touch my cheek to see if I can feel it. I don’t. Why is my body reacting this way to that?
“What’s the matter, Sunshine? Are you thinking about what’s about to happen up there? How much you’re going to like being fucked to exhaustion?” Kyrian’s voice comes out playful, and fuck if it’s not sexy as hell.
“Umm…” I’m not sure how to answer that. Should I be truthful? Just laugh it off? It’s not like we all don’t know what’s going to happen. I mean, they did buy me at a sex auction that I willingly signed up for.
“Kyrian,” his brother growls. Fuck, that was hot too.
“It’s okay. I’m nervous, you know, virgin and all.” He shouldn’t be mad at his brother. He merely asked a question, I’m just too bashful to answer. Because is it wrong to admit all those things he said were one hundred percent true?
“I’m just not sure what to do,” I add, hoping they get the picture, as we stop in front of the elevator door and Liam pushes the button.
“Aww, Sunshine, we can help you with that. We know exactly what we like and what’ll have you drifting into the stars.” Kyrian strokes his hand up my arm and I can feel the hairs standing on end.
The doors slide open with a swooshing sound. We enter two at a time and turn around. There are no buttons in the elevator, just a keypad. Killian enters a series of numbers and the doors shut just before we begin moving upward.
Of course, they just spent ten million for a weekend of sex. Why wouldn’t they have an elevator with a special code? And here I am, just trying to make ends meet.
The ride is quiet. I can’t—it’s like my mouth is glued together, I’m so nervous. I just stand there, still like a statue, and don’t say anything. And if that isn’t bad enough, my stomach chooses that moment to growl. Not a quiet, cute one. No, it’s loud and obnoxious.
“Hold on, Little Mouse, we’re almost there. If you go again, not eating like this, you’ll catch the swift end of a paddle.”
I gulp. What? Like a paddle kids get spanked with? He can’t be for real.
A few moments later, the elevator comes to an abrupt halt, but the doors don’t open like they should. Instead, Killian leans forward and punches in a code again.
Kyrian bumps my shoulder. “It’s to ensure security. It only opens with the code. It’s a safeguard, in case someone gets lucky and punches the right code in downstairs.”
“But what if they remember what they put in downstairs? It’s not really foolproof then, is it?”
Liam lets out a muffled chuckle beside me.
