Rico: You should be seeing a nice little show at school this morning.

Me: You know what’s going on?

Rico: Yeah a little skank is going down for sharing child pornography since you’re under 18 in the video.

Me: What?

Rico: She’s going to become someone’s bitch in jail and well let’s just say anyone she shared it to needs to be careful.

Rico: Just sit back and enjoy the show…

Rico: I love you Sierra.

I angle my phone so the guys can see as we watch Savannah being escorted from the office in handcuffs. Tears stream down her face as she begs to be released.

A man and woman follow after her, and I assume they’re her parents. The man has a stern look, his arms wrapped around the woman’s shoulders while she holds a kleenex to her face.

The bitch is getting what she deserves. And I have a good feeling that she won’t be queen bee in prison.

“Let’s get to class, babe.” Colton slips his hand around my back and guides me down the hallway.

Today is looking a lot better.

They handled two out of the three people. I still don’t know where Aunt Sarah is, but I’m ready for her when she shows back up.

Chapter 55

Sierra

October 18th

Today has been the best birthday ever.

The court sentenced Savannah and charged her for every number she sent the video to, so it will be years before she gets out. I’m okay with that.

But that wasn’t the only great thing to happen in the judicial system. The authorities officially cleared me of any abuse charges against Sam. I’m finally able to see her without having to sneak around. She isn’t able to come back home and live with me yet, but I can still see her.

The guys are bringing her to the apartment for my birthday dinner, and I’ll finally get to introduce her to Rico.

Cyrus steps up behind me, slipping his hands around my waist. “Stop worrying. You look great. She loves you no matter what you’re wearing.”

“I know, it’s just I can’t believe the day is finally here. I’m going to hold her in my arms and if I want to go to the mall with her, I can.” Tears slide down my cheeks as I turn in his arms and bury my face in his chest.

“I love you, Sierra. You know what else is great about today?”

“What?” I mumble into his chest.

“You’re eighteen, we can go out on an actual date now. I can wrap you in my arms and kiss you and not give a fuck who sees.”

I tilt my head up and look at him. “Yes, we can.”

A knock on the front door causes us to pull apart and head to the living room.

Cyrus beats me to it, opening to Mrs. Butler standing on the other side, with Rico, the guys, and Sam behind her. She has a cake in her hand with candles burning as they start singing happy birthday.

Sam darts out around them and runs straight into my arms. I hug her tightly as we both ugly cry.

“I’ve missed you, Ci Ci.”
