Somewhat.

“What else, Ellis?”

“It’s kind of endless, Larissa. We accommodate as much as we can. Everything from arranged threesomes to orgies to the dark room.”

“What’s the dark room?”

“Lights out,” Ellis says. “You go into a room and the lights are turned out. It heightens the other senses. You can’t see your partner. Or partners. It’s just all by feel. Feeling someone. Someone feeling you.”

“Do you…” I choke back the words and swallow hard.

Ellis touches under my chin. “Nobody is allowed to talk about what happens here. Nobody. Do you understand me?”

“Yes,” I whisper. “I want to see.”

“You are seeing.”

“Ellis,” I say. “I want to see. I want to watch.”

His jaw tightens.

Before he can tell me no…

“I own this place too,” I say. “I want to see. I understand there are sessions I’m not allowed to watch. But you said there are people who want to be watched.”

Ellis rubs his chin.

“I know you know the entire schedule,” I say. “You’re that kind of guy. You know everything going on at all times. Maybe it wasn’t always that way, but since my father died, you’ve been involved.”

“You’re acting as though it’s been a long time since…”

“Doesn’t matter, Ellis. I know who you are. I want to see.”

Maybe Ellis has learned to stop arguing with me.

Or maybe he just wants to watch two people fucking like crazy with me.

Ellis takes my hand again and we walk.

Quickly.

Really quickly in fact.

We almost break out into a jog as we go down the hallway.

Ellis stops at a door and opens it.

“Beth,” he says. “Watchers. Yes?”

“Yes,” she says.

“How many?”

“Two.”

“Clear them now,” Ellis orders. “I’m going in. Along with someone.”

“We need proper paperwork.”
