“This is our entrance,” he says. “We have full security outside and inside the building at all times. The key thing for this place to function is safety and privacy.”

“Privacy,” I say. “What about the front door?”

Ellis doesn’t respond.

Two security guards let us into the back of the building.

The first thing I notice is the smell.

It’s a calming smell.

It’s like… sandalwood with a touch of clove…

It’s manly. It’s commanding.

Then it mixes with the smell of Ellis’s cologne.

It’s very proper and has a very luxurious feeling.

“Well, there she is,” a voice says from next to me.

I turn my head and I see Damien.

Tall, sculpted jaw, fuck me eyes.

A smile that screams debauchery.

“Larissa,” he says. “Can’t believe how grown up you are. Finally part of the business.”

“What do you need, Damien?” Ellis asks.

Tension much?

“Can’t I say hello to my new business partner?” Damien asks.

A door to my left opens and out walks an absolutely gorgeous woman.

I’m talking five-seven, thick blonde curls pulled back into a messy bun. High cheek bones. Bright blue eyes. Wearing a tank top and torn up shorts.

So fucking pretty that it takes my breath away for a second.

“Who is this? Is this a new girl? Damn, she’s smoking hot. Look at you, girl.”

She’s talking to me? She thinks I’m pretty enough to be a stripper?

“Easy, Daisy,” Damien says. “This is Larissa. Heston’s daughter.”

Daisy - oh my God what a sexy name for a stripper - gasps and jumps at me to hug me.

She smells like honey and lavender.

I’m totally crushing on this woman.

“I am so sorry about your father,” she whispers to me. “He was a good guy. He treated us well. I mean that too.”

“Thank you,” I say.

“Larissa is part of this now,” Damien says.
