She looks put together yet messy at the same time.
She’s a fucking nightmare.
And she’s staring right at me.
Her eyes light up when she sees me.
Then she bites her bottom lip.
I can’t tell if she’s nervous or flirting.
“Let’s get this over with,” I growl.
I start to turn and Larissa grabs for my right hand.
“Ellis. You said you were going to block me…”
“I did,” I say as I start to walk.
“Well, what happened?”
“Who said I’m done with my plan yet?”
Larissa gasps and releases her hold on my hand.
Damn I wish she didn’t let go.
I usher her into the SUV.
“Just so you know, I’m not some spoiled prude,” Larissa says. “I get it, okay? My father was part owner in a strip club. Let’s just say it as it is. You can call it a club or a gentlemen’s club or whatever you want. But it’s a strip club. And you know what, Ellis? I respect that. All aspects of it.”
I look at her.
Her cheeks are flush.
She’s really trying to get mouthy with me. Stand up to me.
She really thinks she knows what she’s saying.
Truth is… she has no fucking clue what she’s walking into.
LARISSA
Okay.
Be a dick to me then. Make me feel like I’m invisible. Make me feel like I’m in the way. Go ahead then. Be rude. Show your teeth like a dog about to bite. Give off the vibe that I’m ruining your day and maybe I’m even ruining your life.
Go for it.
Want to know something?
I’m so fucked up… when a guy treats me like that… it only turns me on.
I feel my panties starting to gently tug between my legs.
Thanks for that, Ellis!
To make things worse - or better - when I see Ellis all I can do in my head is scream that he’s my father’s best friend. That’s I’ve known him for a long time. That I’ve had a crush on him for a long time.
