Savage, vicious Elliot Eaton.
With everyone except those closest to him.
His best friends, their girlfriends… and now, me.
“I love you,” I blurt, feeling vulnerable and overwhelmed.
“In case you had any doubts about my feelings for you.” He rolls his hips, slow and deep. “Let me show you.”
And he does.
More than once.
“You don’t have to do that, you know,” I say some time later.
It’s late. Some ungodly hour. But we refuse to give into sleep. I think we’re both scared to ever let tonight end.
We’ve talked and kissed and talked some more. Elliot has made me cry and scream his name, he’s made me quiver and shake.
He’s learned far too many ways to make me come undone.
And I’ve loved every second of it.
It’s more than that though. Deeper than sex and pleasure. He gets me and I get him. And there’s something so terrifyingly amazing about that.
With Elliot, I feel seen.
For the first time in my life, I feel understood.
“Hush, woman,” he scoffs, tracing his fingers over the scars marring my soft pale skin. “I love every inch of you.”
“Keep that up and I’ll start to think your reputation as the cold, cruel Heir will be forever ruined.”
He lifts his head to mine and smirks again. “If you need a reminder of exactly how cruel I can be…” His fingers dip lower and lower, gliding over my clit.
A hiss leaves my lips as I swat his arm away. “I can’t… Not again. I think you broke me.”
“I could kiss it better?” Amusement twinkles in his icy gaze.
“It’s late. We should probably get some sleep.”
Elliot crawls up the bed and looms over me. “We can sleep… if that’s what you want?”
Heat flares inside me but I’m too sore to act on it.
“What’s wrong?” he asks and I realise I’ve failed at hiding the truth from him.
Dammit.
“Nothing.” I palm his cheek, stealing a kiss.
“You’re really sore?” His eyes harden.
“I… Yes. But it’s fine. I’m fine.”
“I hurt you.” Worry casts a shadow over his expression as he tries to pull away from me.
“Elliot, I’m fine.” I anchor my arms around his neck, pulling him towards me. “But it was my first time, you know that.”
