LESLIE
Once we were alone in the locker room, Mason locked the door before lowering me to the floor, crowding me back against the cubby with his name above it. The room stank of stale sweaty clothes, and I wanted to gag. Instead, I leaned in closer to Mason, surrounding myself with his scent. It should’ve been gross—he needed a shower—but I could smell the aggression on him, and it made my thighs clench with need.
“Fuck, Leslie,” he groaned. “I’ll admit, I was ready to tan your pretty little ass for showing up so late, but you made up for it.”
“Mason, we can’t be here. Your team…”
“They saw us come in here,” he said, his lips dropping to my neck. I shivered at the heat and determination in his licks and bites. “They’ll give us some time. Daddy needs inside his girl’s tight little pussy.”
Spinning us around, he walked us backwards, dropping onto a bench and pulling me onto his lap so I straddled him.
He brushed my hair back from my face, staring straight into my eyes.
“You’re so beautiful. I’ve never seen anything so beautiful in my life,” he said. And then my heart began to thud because his lips descended toward mine. Just a brush, at first, nothing more than butterfly wings—like he was trying to imitate his nickname for me. The barely there touch of his mouth to mine shouldn’t have done anything for me, but my heart felt too big for my chest. Very gently, and so, so slowly, he began to urge my mouth open. It was different from the previous kiss in the stadium; that had been a triumphant conquering, this was a gentle quest. I opened, and his tongue swept in, licking at the corners of my mouth, my tongue, kindling a fire within me. And when he groaned and grabbed the back of my neck so he could force his kiss deeper, kissing me deeper, that small fire roared to life.
I moaned into his mouth, grinding against his hard cock.
He pulled back. “Shh, butterfly. There’s no rush.”
“But your team,” I protested.
He cut me off, kissing me again. It was like the room shifted and shimmered around us. We were somewhere new, somewhere I didn’t recognize, and I had no choice but to hold tight to Mason or risk being swept away by the current of his kiss. He slowly lowered me onto the bench, still kissing me. My body felt weak, but my heart had never felt so strong.
Once he’d reduced me to a quivering, emotionally vulnerable mess, he pulled back, his fingers on his lips. I copied him. I could still feel his lips on mine.
“Fuck,” he said.
“Uh huh,” I gasped.
“I love you, butterfly. You’re stuck with me, you hear me?” he said between kisses. “I won’t let anything hurt you, all I ask is you stay by my side, alright? Can you promise me that, that you’ll stick around no matter how upset our parents are or what people say?”
Could I?
“I’m scared,” I admitted, like I had before.
“Fucking terrified,” he agreed.
“What if your dad and my mom disown us? What if they can’t get their heads around it? What if people talk crap about us, and we have to move, and like, what if our kids?—”
Mason interrupted me. “Our kids?”
Uh oh. Too soon? “You don’t want kids?” I asked carefully.
“Baby, half the reason why I always come in you without a condom is because I plan to breed your little ass. When it’s time, Daddy’s going to fuck his babies into you, don’t doubt it for a goddamned second. And you’re going to take his come like a good girl every time, aren’t you? Until you’re all round and gorgeous and swollen with my child. Fuck, I cannot wait.”
I looked at him warily. “We’re freshmen in college.”
He sighed. “Fine, I can be convinced to wait a few years. If you’re a good girl, that is.”
The threat shouldn’t have done anything for me, but I went wet, hot, pliant. “I’ll be your good girl,” I said, lifting my face to his for another kiss. “But what are we going to do when people talk shit about them, Mason? When people point and stare and?—”
“Stop. Stop it.” He picked me up and deposited me on the bench, kissing each of my wrists gently before lifting them over my head, restraining me against the wood. “Don’t get caught up in the what ifs or the shoulds. Here’s what’s important: I love you, and you love me. I’ll protect our kids, just like I protect you.”
“Like we protect each other,” I corrected.
His eyes warmed as he began to strip me. “Whatever comes, okay?”
I sighed, my heart so full. “Whatever comes.”
