I glare at Triton as he meows at me, smirking as he meets my heated look.

“What’s up, pussycat?” Chance asks, and I growl.

“Hey, pres! How come you didn’t tell us about your newest additions?” Razor asks, and I roll my eyes.

“I’m just fostering the cats,” I tell the room, and I’m met with a few knowing looks.

“And what about their owner?” Drak asks, and I grin.

“Oh, her I’m keeping.”

Cheers go up around the clubhouse, and I laugh.

I grab a cup of coffee and head over to join the guys. It’s been a while since I’ve cut up with them. I have to get to work soon, but I can spare a few minutes to hang out. Church is tomorrow night, so I know I’ll be able to catch up with everyone more then too.

“How have things been with Winnie?” Drak asks, and I take a drink of my coffee.

“Good. We had our first official date last night.”

“About damn time,” he says, and I laugh.

“Yeah, I know.”

“How are things at the animal sanctuary?” Triton asks, and I sigh.

“There haven’t been any updates. No one sneaking around since the night of the fire. Who is on lookout now?” I ask.

“Phoenix,” Chance says, and I nod.

“I need to head to work, but I’ll see you guys tomorrow,” I say as I stand.

“See you!”

I wave and head out to my bike. It’s not as much fun without Winnie riding on the back, her arms wrapped tightly around me. It was half heaven, half torture to be in between her thighs like that.

That kiss.

I groan as I remember making out with Winnie in the hallway. I wish we hadn’t stopped, but I think both of us were getting lightheaded from the lack of oxygen.

I pull into work, and from the second I step foot in the building until we close, I’m crazy busy. We had three groups go through, and then I had to get caught up on paperwork. By the time that five o’clock hits, I’m exhausted. I perk up when I climb on my bike and head home to Winnie.

“Hey,” Winnie greets me as I walk in the door.

“Hey, how was your day?” I ask as I toe off my boots.

“Good. I got in a few strays today. They were going to be euthanized at the shelter in town. Oh, and the workers came and got started on the new cat building. They really just took some measurements and stuff today, but that’s still exciting.”

“Very exciting. Sounds like you had a good day.”

“Great day,” she says with a wide smile, and I walk closer, dropping a kiss on her forehead.

“I’m happy to hear that.”

“How was your day?” She asks.

“Good. Busy. We had a few groups go through today, and I stopped by the MC.”

“How are things there?”
