“Whatever. I’ll be back. Don’t bother escaping.”

“Wait! What did you do with my grandparents?” I stopped them.

“I let them go. The deal was you turn yourself over to me they go free. I always keep my promises, Artemis.” He closed the cell door and left.

At least they’re safe.

‘So I’ve been through your memories and I have to say I hate that guy.’ Elise said. ‘But the memories with Blake cheered me right up.’

I rolled my eyes at her. ‘You better not be putting dirty thoughts in my head.’

‘No promises.’ She smirked. ‘He’s a Greek God. How do you not have dirty thoughts?’

I rolled my eyes at her again and blocked her out.

I could see some sort of shine peaking out from outside of my cell.

The sun is coming up. Blake must have noticed I’m gone by now.

Hopefully he doesn’t come looking for me. I don’t want him to risk his life for me.

Logan came back with a plate of food in his hands.

He kneeled down in front of me and held a spoon of old moldy peas to my mouth.

“Eat.” He commanded.

I looked at him like he was crazy. “Why don’t you eat that? Let’s see if your stomach can hold that shit down.”

“Artemis you have to eat this food.”

“Only one problem, that’s not food. It’s something you puke up after drinking to much.”

He rolled his eyes at me. “If I take a bite will you eat it.”

“Maybe.”

He sighed and brought the spoon to his mouth.

I waited for him to swallow so I could see the look on his face when we pukes it up.

He swallows and smirks. His smirk falls when I hear his stomach grumbling.

“You know what never mind. Starve to death for all I care.” He dropped the plate of food in front of me and left the cell.

I looked over at he plate. Is that cabbage? I hate cabbage.

‘Why?’ Elise asked.

‘Cabbage is lettuce’s snobby cousin.’ I answered.

‘Well I can’t argue with that logic.’

‘No one can. It’s only science.’

‘Wait I just had an idea.’ She paused for a few seconds.

‘Well don’t keep me in suspense. Tell me what it is.’
