Iesha shook her head while laughing. “We just repaired the bathroom door.”

“Well can you blame me?” Tyler cut in.

“Alright as long as he doesn’t hurt you, he lives.” I nodded.

Tyler’s expression turned into a horrified one. “D-don’t worry Luna, I’ll take care of her.”

“Call me Artemis. I’m still not used to the whole Luna thing.”

He nodded.

I picked up Midnight and headed towards mine and Blake’s room.

Blake was asleep on the bed.

“Did you release him?” I asked.

He groaned. “Yes. As much as I didn’t want to I did.”

“Good.” I set Midnight on the ground and closed the door.

I climbed in the bed and took out my lap top.

“What are you doing?” Blake asked.

“Face timing my grandparents. I haven’t talked to them in a while.”

I clicked the call button and waited for them to answer.

“Hi honey. It’s a good thing you called. I was about to think you were dead.” My grandma popped up on the screen.

“I’m fine grandma. You should know me but now.” Midnight hopped up on the bed and curled up next to me.

“Well we have some news.” My grandpa now appeared on the screen.

“What is it?”

“You have been summoned by the council. They want to know about your mate.” My grandma explained.

“What!? Grandma do you remember the last time I was summoned by the council!? It was about Logan and that conversation did not end well. I still have the scar!”

Blake gave me a confused look but I ignored him.

“I know sweetie but they want to know if having a werewolf mate will get in the way of your… hunting.” She explained.

I sighed. “When do they want to see me?”

“As soon as you can.” My grandpa answered.

“I’ll see when I have time. Bye.”

“Bye.”

I clicked the red button ending the call.

I put my lap top on the side table.

“What council?” Blake asked.
