He chuckled but left me alone.

I heard Blake yelling. I followed the sound of his voice to one of the cells.

There was a rogue chained to the wall. The silver was clearly burning his wrist.

There was two other guards beside Blake. Blake had a whip in his hand.

The rogue’s face was bloody and he had whip marks on his chest and arms.

“I’m going to ask you again! Who sent you!?” Blake growled.

“And I’m going to say it again. I’m not talking.” The rogue spat.

“Fine!” Blake growled again.

Blake threw the whip back. My eyes widened at what he was about to do.

The rogue prepared for the impacts of the whip.

I ran in front of the rogue. I put army arm in front of my face and let the whip wrap around my forearm.

I snatched the whip from Blake’s grip.

“You two, go upstairs!” I yelled at the guards. I pointed to Blake. “You. Come with me. Now.”

Blake growled and exited the cell. I followed and shut the cell door.

“I told you I didn’t want you to came down here.” Blake growled.

“And I ignored you.” I shot back.

He groaned in frustration.

“Explain yourself Blake. Why did you whip him?” I held up the whip.

“You kill rogues it’s the same thing.”

“No it’s not. I never used torture Blake. Choosing to kill someone is one thing but torturing someone is a lot worse.”

“Fine. Go in there and interrogate him. See how well you do.” He growled before stomping away.

I swear he acts like a toddler.

I entered the cell again.

The rogue had an unreadable expression.

“Why did you stop him?” He asked.

“You sound surprised.” I replied.

“Well yeah kinda. You’re Robin Hood. You’re kinda known for killing rogues.”

“Killing is one thing, torture is another. Not my style.” I sat down in front of him. “Why are you here?”

He sighed. “I’m supposed to give a message to the Luna of this pack, but that asshole alpha wouldn’t let me see her. Her name is Artemis King.”

“What was the message?” I asked.
