“Quiet!” I yelled through the microphone.

Everyone covered their ears and stayed silent.

“This is my mate.” I lowered my voice.

Everyone stayed silent until Artemis spoke up.

“I know I’m a hunter. Most of you recognize me as the huntress name Robin Hood. You’ve all heard rumors and stories about me. About how I kill every werewolf I sight. Those rumors are false. I only kill rogues. I know that still makes me a killer. I know it’s going to take time to earn your trust but I am trusting you with my secret. No one outside this pack knows who I am. Please keep it that way.”

She took off her hood and her mask. “My name is Artemis King. And I promise to protect this pack with my life.”

I could help but smile. She had the confidence to take off her mask in front of my pack.

I’m so proud of her.

‘She’s right you are cheesy.’ Gavin said.

‘Shut up. You ruined the moment.’ I replied.

‘Then I’m doing my job.’

My pack started to applaud. I heard whistles and cheers.

They trust her.

“We will keep you secret Luna!” I heard somebody yell.

I saw a smile tugging up on her face.

‘You know you just broke my window. You owe me a new window.’ I mind linked her.

‘Do I look like a window fixer to you?’ She sassed.

‘Alright fine. Don’t fix it.’ I took her hand and led her off the stage.

As soon as we were out of sight from the pack members I brought her lips to mine.

She was surprised at first but quickly responded.

To my disappointment she pulled away.

“What was that for?” She asked while smiling.

“Because I’m proud of you. You took off your mask.” I smiled back.

“Hey, Blake.” I’m familiar voice popped in.

I turned around and saw Tiffiny. She’s one of my closest friends.

“Hi Tiffiny.” I greeted and turned back to my mate.

“Aren’t you going to introduce me to your mate?” She looked at me lime I was an idiot.

“Artemis this is one of my closest friends, Tiffiny. Tiffiny this is my mate Artemis.” I introduced them.

“Hi.” Artemis greeted.

Tiffiny waved at her.
