“Guys this is Midnight. Midnight don’t worry these are nice rogues.” I introduce them.
“Rottweiler. Good choice.” Justin started to put Midnight’s head.
After Midnight’s barking stopped I showed the twins to their rooms.
I changed my clothes and plopped down on my bed.
It’s been a long day and it feels like my fever is getting worse.
Why would Blake ask to mark me?

Artemis’s POV
I woke up to the sound of a TV.
My fever is still here.
I got up and went downstairs. Iesha was on the couch flipping through channels.
“What time did you wake up?” I asked.
“I couldn’t sleep.” She answered.
“Do you want something to eat?”
“No I’m good.”
I nodded and went to the kitchen. She’s been acting strange lately.
I started to make some pancakes because, why not?
I heard footsteps coming from the stairs. I turned around and saw Justin.
I put a pancake on a plate and handed it to him.
I took it happily and started eating.
“Is there something wrong with Iesha? She’s been a little distant.”
He sighed and out his food down. “She met her mate yesterday before we saw you.”
“Oh no!” I paused. “Wait, isn’t that a good thing thing that she met her mate.”
He shook his head. “He rejected her.”
My whole body filled with anger. “Tell me his name and I’ll put an arrow through him.”
“No. Iesha doesn’t want to talk about him and she told me not to tell you. Don’t do anything.” He pleaded.
“Fine. I won’t mention anything to her but the moment I see him my arrow is going in his ear and out his eye.”
“I’ll let you do that but we need something to take her mind off him.”
An idea popped up in my head. “I have an idea but we have to wait until sunset.”
