I used it so it’s loud enough that she could hear if she was close.

I heard rustling in some bushes.

I prepared for her arrival.

The rustling got louder with each passing second.

Instead of a girl, a bunny popped out from the bush.

“Stupid bunny.” I threw a rock at it as it hopped away.

“I’m pretty sure that was animal abuse.” A familiar voice said behind me.

I turned around and was met with a familiar huntress.

She had her usual quiver, bow and holsters with her.

Those aren’t going to help her now.

“You’re one to talk.” I shot back.

She rolled her eyes at me. “Give me the coin.”

I took it off from around my neck. “First you tell me what’s so special about it.”

I don’t know why I want to know. I just do.

“No of your damn business. Just give it back.” She demanded.

“Fine. Take it.” I tossed it to her.

She caught it with one hand and put it on around her neck before stuffing it in her jacket.

“By the way I know you have guards hiding in the trees to ambush me, and I also know that your bets and Third in Command are hiding in that tree.” She pointed to the tree where they were hiding.

I faked smirked. “Prove it.”

She smirked. She grabbed an arrow and shot it at the tree.

I loud thud came from Xander as he hit the ground and groaned.

He had an arrow sticking out of his butt.

It took all of me not to laugh.

“Are you kidding me!? How am I suppose to sit down with this injury!?” He yelled at her as he stood up.

“I don’t know. It sounds like a ‘you’ problem.” She responded before leaving.

As she left she shot arrows at the trees where my guards where hiding.

“This isn’t my first ambush!” She yelled before she was out of sight.

I hate her so much.

‘Hey! Don’t say that about her!’ My wolf growled at me.

‘Why are you defending her!? We have a mate!’
