A few hours later Artemis came into my office.
“I do not appreciate the army you sent to watch us.” She glared and walked over to me.
I pulled her onto my lap and wrapped my arms around her waist. “I had too.”
“I’m not a baby, Blake and you can’t treat me like one.” She crossed her arms over her chest.
“But you’re my baby.” I put my face in the croak of her neck.
“You still can’t treat me like one.”
“I don’t care as long as no unmated males are around you.” I kissed her neck.
“OK you’ve been possessive lately. More than usual. What’s up?”
I ignored her question and trailed kisses up and down her neck.
I smirked when I felt her shiver in delight. I grabbed her hands and put them around my neck.
I was about to attack her neck with kisses again but she stopped me.
“Seriously, what’s wrong?” She asked.
I sighed. “You’re going into heat soon.”
She groaned and dropped her head on my chest. “Again!?”
I pulled her closer.
“Why do females have to go through this? Why not the males?” She pouted.
I put her pouting lip in between my teeth and kissed her slowly.
I licked her lip asking for an entrance. She denied. I poked her sides. She gasped I took the opportunity and slid my tongue in her mouth.
She pulled away. “Brat.”
My mouth gaped open. “What? Not enough tongue?” I smirked.
She glared at me and hit my chest. “Too much, asshat.”
I chuckled.
She was about to saw something but she let out a scream instead.
“My body is burning.” She gasped. “It’s like my skin is lava and I’m a volcano.”
“You’re in heat Princess.”
“It made me scream. I haven’t screamed in years.” She let out another scream. “Get rid of it.”
“The only way to get rid of her is too mate. I can’t do that if you’re not ready.”
“Just do it!”
“In my office!?”
She glared and my while breathing heavily. “No idiot in the bedroom.”
