Blood was dripping down, all the way to my thigh.
I kicked his chest, with and sent him flying.
I pressed the button on my staff causing the blade to come out.
Blake was on mid back groaning. I place my foot on his chest keeping him in place.
I pointed the blade on my staff at him.
“Go ahead. Kill me.” He growled. “And prove me right.”
I looked at him for a moment. I pressed the button on my staff retracting the blade back in. I put my staff away.
He looked at me confused. “Why aren’t you killing me?”
“Because Blake, I’m your mate.”
He looked angry again. All the sympathy from his face vanished.
He grabbed my foot, that was still resting on his chest, and pushed it off him.
I fell on my back. Blake wrapped his hand around my throat. My hands gripped his wrist.
“You are not my mate!” He growled.
I released his wrist. I unzipped my jacket slightly and pulled the collar away from me. Revealing me mark.
I used my other hand to take off my mask.
When he looked at my mark he looked shocked. He looked back at me.
“It’s your mark Blake. I’m your mate.” I tried not to talk to much. He was cutting off me oxygen supply.
He stayed silent for a few moments then spoke up. “Artemis?”
He released his hand from my throat and helped me up.
“What, no Princess?” I smiled.
He pulled me into his chest and held me tight.
He place his head in the croak of my neck and started crying.
“I’m so sorry. So sorry. I hurt you.” He cried into my shoulder. I didn’t mind the wetness on my shoulder.
I wrapped my arms around his neck. “It’s OK. You were under a spell. It’s not your fault.”
“I knew what I was doing but I couldn’t stop myself. I hurt you.”
I stroked his hair. “It’s ok. I don’t blame you.”
“I’m such a bad mate.”
I lifted his head so he would look at me. “You are not a bad mate.”
I kissed his lips softly since my lip was still bleeding. I pulled away.
“WHAT!?” Tiffiny yelled. “How did you break my spell!?”
