“Don’t worry baby we’re almost there.”
As soon as we got to the hospital I picked up Gina and kicked down the doors.
“She’s going into labor help!” I yelled.
Doctors came rushing towards us.
I set Gina down on the gurney as they rushed her off into one of the emergency rooms.
When we got to the room the nurses hooked her up to machines and cut her pants.
A female doctor came rushing in. “I need you to push.”
~Time skip~
“Xander, Gina. Here’s your new baby girl.” The nurse came in holding my daughter in a pale pink blanket.
She handed her to Gina. Gina smiled down at our child.
“What should we name her?” I ask.
“Melissa?” Gina looked at me hopefully.
“It’s perfect.” I kissed Gina’s forehead as we paid out attention to our daughter.
Melissa stirred around until she opened her eyes. They were a bright blue bell like Gina’s.
“She looks just like you.” I pointed out.
Gina was about to respond until the door slammed opened.
“Where’s my niece!? Move!” Artemis hip bumped me, making me fall.
Melissa exploded in a fit of giggles.
“Aw look, ages already laughing at you.” Artemis smirked.
“Then she got her sense of humor from me.” I shot back as I got up from the ground.
Artemis rolled her eyes at me. “Hey cutie.”
“Thanks.” Blake came in.
“Not you, the baby.” She pointed out.
“Fine, be that way.” Blake scoffed.
I took my daughter in my arms.
“If she turns out anything like you, she’s going to need all the luck in the world.” Artemis cut in my moment.
“Way to ruin the moment.” I fake glared at her.
Jamie and Noah came rushing in with big smiles on their faces.
“How did it go?” Jamie asked.
“Everything went well. She was born a little early but the doctors said shell be fine.” Gina answered.
