"Good." She stood then and clapped me on the shoulder. "Then get the dishes from the pantry because pizza will be here soon."
"Wow." I shoved her off when I got up and she laughed. "Don't tell me what to do. I'm in charge here."
"You wish. I don't respond to whips and chains." Sali grinned while pulling sodas out from the fridge.
"Maybe not you." I retrieved the dishes anyway. "But your wife does."
Sali's dagger eyes attempted to murder me and I burst out laughing.
"Your walls aren't soundproof either." I pointed at her.
"Mags! Caroline can hear me spank you!" she shouted.
"Sali!" Maggie's reprimanding voice burst into the hall and tangled with Nora's heavy giggles.
Sali grinned, tossing me a wink before we toted the supplies in to join them.
