"I don't want anyone touching me," she said, choking on a sob after. "I don't."

"We can tell Doctor Lewis that, Nor." Anita reached over and squeezed her forearm. "She's a friend of mine and she'll understand."

"Is she hot?" I asked, and Nora's tears paused momentarily when she laughed.

"Caroline."

"C'mon." I grinned. "Is she hot, Neets?"

"I mean, yes, she's attractive…" Anita smirked and shook her head at me. "Why?"

"A hot doctor, Nor." I wagged my brows at her. "Maybe she's kinky and will play with us someday."

"We can recruit her." Nora chuckled and swiped at her eyes.

"Yup." I grinned and nuzzled her nose with mine. "Sound like a plan?"

Nora nodded, leaning into my affection. "Yes."

"Then afterward, we'll head back to Seattle. Just you and me."

"Okay." Nora stroked my face, the roses still held against her chest. "I can't believe you brought me flowers."

"Hmm. You deserve them." I turned to kiss her wrist. "I'll do it more often."

"Okay." Her smile broadened while she gazed down at me.

It didn't take much to recognize her ache and need, in just the way her brows lifted or how the corners of her eyes didn't smile as deeply as they usually do.

"Ready to go, honey?" I asked her, my voice soft.

She nodded and glanced at Anita.

"I'll be there outside waiting," said Anita. "Okay?"

Again, Nora nodded and looked back at me. She hugged me around the shoulders, crunching the flowers between us. I returned her squeeze and patted her rear held firmly in her leggings. When she leaned back, I grabbed her ass and she squeaked.

"Can't wait to tear your clothes off you," I teased. "The faster we get this over with, the quicker I get you naked."

"Okay. Let's go." She kissed me quickly, then slid from my lap.

"Nice incentive," Anita said as we rose together.

"Always is."

It took us barely fifteen minutes to arrive at our destination. The double blondes in the car remained unusually quiet for most of the ride. Nora held the box of chocolates in her lap, her nervous fingers wrapping around the edges, with the flowers on the seat beside her.

Doctor Lewis' office shared a building with Anita's private practice. The receptionist, Jolie, greeted us when we entered. Nora walked ahead of me with Anita at her side, but as we drew closer to the hallway that Anita led toward, she began to drop back closer me.

I caught her in a hug from behind before she could turn around. "I have you, Kitten."

She shook her head and turned in my arms, her face hidden against my neck when she hugged me. "I can't keep myself together."

"You don't have to," said Anita, her hand on Nora's shoulder. "There's no one else here. Just us, Jolie, one nurse and Doctor Lewis."

"You promise?"

"I do, Nor." Anita rubbed her arm in gentle circles. "I'll always tell you the truth."
