“I don’t like the sound of this,” Calvin comments darkly.
“I don’t think you're going to like the next part then.” I give him a sad smile. “They said that if I ended up becoming an omega, they could sell me and get a shit ton of money for me.”
“What the fuck!” Zane snarls. “I know they were messed up, selfish assholes, but omega trafficking? Are they fucking deranged?”
“Yes?” I reply with a shrug. “Anyway, it had me wanting to get out of there at that very moment. But that would draw too much attention, so I locked myself in my room and planned to leave as soon as they went to sleep. Only it wasn’t that easy because when I woke up, my body decided the moment I hit eighteen it wanted to present. I woke up and freaked out. I was frantic, needing to get rid of any evidence of the slicked mess I made. I was afraid that if they knew I was an omega, they would track me down.
“So I took it all with me, trashed it and fled. Presenting sooner than I thought kind of derailed my plans. Being an omega meant being at risk of getting hurt or assaulted. Needing a place to stay, I headed for the omega center. They set me up with a room. My new plan was to stay there, adjust to being an omega and then leave.
“Someone mentioned getting a job and saving up because starting over wasn’t cheap, and the money I had would only get me so far. So I got a job at the High Roller. And well, I loved it so much I never left.”
“Why?” Griffin asks. “What about that place made you change all your plans?”
“It was safe. I made a home there. It had everything.” I shrug. “A job, freedom, a home, a family. Why leave? I was happy.”
“And then we took you away from that,” Everett says, his face falling.
“I don’t regret coming with you on this tour, even if it’s been crazy. And trust me, it’s nuts.” I laugh. “I’m used to the routine I’ve built, but I have you guys back. I’d follow you to the ends of the earth as long as we were all happy.”
“Let’s get back to the psychos,” Zane grunts, looking at Calvin. “You need to look into these people. If they were willing to sell Jade, God knows what else they’ve done. Maybe they’ve done it to other kids too.”
“I’ll look into them.” Calvin nods. “At the very least, make sure their foster care license is revoked.”
“Oh my God,” I whisper, horror filling me. “I-I didn’t even think about that. What if they took more kids in after I left. What if, because I didn’t say anything, they’ve done this to other kids?” Tears fill my eyes as my stomach drops, a sick feeling hitting me.
“Don’t think like that.” Griffin stands and moves to take a seat next to me. He pulls me into his lap, and I snuggle in close, letting his touch and warmth blanket over me. Tucking my face into his neck, I inhale deeply, moaning as the smell of lemon and blueberry cheesecake has a gush of slick running out.
“Fuck,” Griffin grunts. “Jelly Bean, you're making it really hard to be a gentleman.”
“Then don’t be,” I whimper. “Fuck me.”
“No,” Zane declares. “We’re talking right now.”
“I’m done talking, let’s fuck,” I moan, grinding my pussy down against Griffin’s stiff bulge.
Calvin chuckles. “She’s going to be a little sensitive to our scents for a while. And with having four scent matches, it’s amped up.”
I lean back and pout. “Just one little orgasm, pleeeease. Just, at least, let me suck your cock.”
Griffin’s face contorts, and he looks back at the guys with pleading eyes.
“No!” Zane growls.
“Fucking hell, you suck, you know that!” Griffin snaps.
I’m about to pout when my stomach growls. “Shit, I forgot to eat.”
“How about I order some chicken wings,” Calvin offers.
“Oh, wings!” My eyes light up and just like that, all thoughts of sex are forgotten.
WITH A BELLY FULL OF wings, I’m laying back with my feet in Everett’s lap and my head on Griffin’s as he plays with my hair. My libido has simmered down a bit, and we’ve been just hanging out and talking.
This is what I like, just relaxing, being with each other. I’ve laughed and smiled more in this past hour, than I have in a long time.
“Question for you, Jade,” Zane asks.
“Hit me,” I reply, popping a grape into my mouth from the little bowl sitting on my belly.
