I slide off the bed and use my finger to gesture to him to follow me. I kick my panties off properly and walk into the bathroom.

I hear his footsteps follow me, and suddenly, he grabs me from behind. He Slides his hands around my front and cups my breasts.

He squeezes them and then teases my nipples. I rest my head back against his shoulder and whimper.

“I want more.”

“I will give you everything,” he says quietly.

Chapter 25 - Danil

One Year Later

I walk through the door and hand Renat my suit jacket. “Please, give it to Claire. She must dry clean it. Asher hates when I smell like smoke from the casino.”

I undo my shirt and take it off as I walk upstairs. I’m glad to be home. “Love? Where are you?”

“In the nursery,” Asher calls. I smile; where else would I expect her to be other than with our daughter?

“Your sister is going to be here in an hour,” I say as I walk in. Asher is cradling little Jade in her arms. I can't get enough looking at them.

“She’s just eaten. I need to change her and then change me before you even think about taking me away from my child,” she looks at me sternly.

I chuckle. I know how Asher loves being a mother. “You agreed Piper could babysit while we go for a fun night out with Kervyn and Penny,” I say, kissing her.

“You smell like smoke,” she complains, but a smile plays around her lips.

I hold my hands up in defeat, laughing. “I’m going to shower right now and solve that problem.”

Asher nods and sets Jade down in her crib. I watch them, my heart overflowing with love. “Sweet Jadie-Pie. Mama loves you so much.”

Smiling, I go to our bedroom and into the bathroom. I undress and get showered as quickly as I can. If I leave Asher too long, she’ll think of an excuse not to go out again. She’s so fiercely protective of our daughter, but I don’t blame her. I would kill for Jade, literally and figuratively.

I get out of the shower and splash on some cologne. “Asher, come get showered,” I call, then remember she just put Jade down and clamp a hand over my mouth.

“Don’t yell,” Asher scolds me. “She’s just falling asleep.”

“Sorry.” I give her a sheepish look.

She shakes her head, then walks to her closet. “I have nothing to wear.”

“Don’t make me call Penny,” I say, resting my hands on my hips.

“Fine.” She comes over to me and kisses me softly. “Hmm, you smell good.” She sniffs around my neck and buries her face there. “So good.”

“If you’re trying to tempt me with sex, it will have to wait until later when we get back. If you don’t get too drunk.” I grin and smack her bum as she walks past.

“Fine, I’ll get dressed.” She grins at me.

I check on Jade to make sure she’s fallen asleep peacefully before I go downstairs.

I spend time in my office going over some deals while Asher gets ready, and just as she comes downstairs, the car pulls up outside, and Piper comes bounding inside. “Where’s my niece?”

“She’s asleep,” I say sternly.

“Alright, let up, brother-in-law. I’ve brought her new stuffed animals, and also, I found this amazing teething ring for when she teethes.” She bounces up and down.

Asher smiles proudly at her sister. “Now, she’s got milk in the fridge. I pumped enough for the whole night and tomorrow, so help me. Don’t wake her up unnecessarily. She’s almost sleeping through the night. We won’t be home too late.”
