Heat and pressure erupted in his core, spilling from his cock and flooding Reid’s already slick, wet passage. Pleasure swept through Max as he bucked off the bed, his muffled sobs bouncing off the glossy walls.
“Oh, fuck! M—Will!” Reid arched, grabbing Max’s thigh and breathing heavily. “That was so hot. I’m gonna need a minute,” he said and it turned into a silky moan as Reid slid forward, dismounting. He reached behind him, smiling over his shoulder at Max as he caught the cum leaking from his hole. “I’m gonna need a minute…” Reid hummed as he licked his fingers clean.
Max was whimpering through the gag by the time Reid turned and coated his shaft with lube, pushing Max’s knees up and out for access. He teased Max, giving him just a little bit at a time, nudging forward and waiting, then sliding back and waiting a little more. Every excruciatingly blissful slide of Reid’s cock brought Max closer to the edge. He was sweating and swearing behind the gag by the time Reid slid all the way home.
He fell forward, flashing Max a cocky smirk. “Ready?” Reid asked as he hooked Max’s leg around his hip.
“Mmmm!” Max begged and nodded drunkenly. He pulled the other leg up and tucked his ankles under Reid’s ass.
“Hold on tight,” Reid growled, then dug in with his knees and rode Max like he had just robbed a bank and the law was after him.
Max came twice by the time Reid slammed forward, screaming his name. It was the wrong name, but Max had never felt anything as good or had more fun in his life.
“That was very nice. I’m pleased with you, Will,” Reid said in a sultry whisper, sucking on Max’s earlobe and nibbling his jaw. He slid lower, groaning and licking the insides of Max’s thighs and asscheek greedily.
“Hmmm!” Max implored Reid to free him and let him have a taste.
Reid rose on his hands and knees, kissing Max’s knee and then his shin. “Maybe… After I’ve had a shower,” he said before backing off the bed and running into the bathroom.
Max’s eyes widened and he howled when he heard the water start in the shower. He gave his wrists a swift yank and the silk ties loosened easily around the slick chrome. The jockstrap flew across the room as Max dove out of the bed and Reid let out a shocked yelp when he was tackled and danced under the water.
“I’m not done with you yet, Wes.”

As far as Mondays went, Max’s had started out promising and had continued to go his way. Mia had stayed at Sophia’s through the weekend and had messaged that she would be home in the evening “to touch base and plan.” Instead of being concerned, Max had spent the day looking forward to seeing Mia.
The Liberty people had moved on and the only pressing matter was a state dinner in DC next month to welcome the Austrian prime minister and his team and help ease relations. Everything in Europe was tense and most countries in the region were shoring up their relationships with the United States, England, and NATO. Max was happy to do his part to ensure stability but his role was limited to introductions and photo ops since his rank was purely ceremonial and he had no real political influence beyond his connections.
In the afternoon, he’d had lunch at Daniel with Agnes, her event planner, and his assistant to finalize the details of a party Max was hosting for his cousin, Leo. It was his birthday and while Max’s heir was excellent at managing the Margraviate, Leo was hesitant to make his entrance in society on this side of the Atlantic. Max was taking advantage of Leo’s birthday to introduce the new Margrave in all but name to important people like the Camerons and key figures from both sides of the political aisle.
Max often enlisted Agnes as his co-host for important business and political events because she knew everyone and she knew how to arrange a seating chart to avoid catastrophes or foster agreements.
“Will you be inviting Mr. Marshall?” she had asked, batting her eyelashes at Max sweetly before taking a bite of her salad. The planner and his assistant were unaware that she was being a bit of a shit and sat with their notepads and pens poised.
“Sure. Why not?” Max said with a nod at them. “Send an invitation to Mr. Reid Marshall of Briarwood Terrace. But don’t expect a response,” he warned, causing Agnes to laugh.
“I’d eat my purse,” she said, shaking her head. “I can’t see him accepting either. It’ll be worth it just for his reaction when he receives an invite, though.”
“Keep me posted,” Max had said and smiled throughout the rest of lunch as he imagined Reid’s reaction.
He might yell at me.
He didn’t know why that turned him on or made him so happy, but Max wasn’t going to ruin his good mood by overthinking. He was kissing Reid’s stubborn frown and petting his cranky face when Agnes elbowed him.
“Where have you been? You just agreed to a string quartet and a champagne toast. I thought you wanted this to feel like a reception, not a full-blown gala at the Plaza.”
“Did I?” Max sat forward, opening his mouth to object but paused. He would want a string quartet and champagne if Reid was there and Max felt a tickle in his chest as he pictured them waltzing. The whole vision was absurd because Reid would never show up and Max doubted he’d have the nerve. But just in case… “Why not? I only get to host a few more of these now that I’m officially retiring,” he decided, making Agnes’s brows jump.
“I couldn’t agree more!” she had said with a wild gleam in her eye.
Max was mildly concerned until he recalled that it was Agnes’s meddling that had brought Reid back into his life. He’d still be wondering where “Wes” was and how to find him if she hadn’t caught them.
He waited until they were outside and saying goodbye to bring it up. “Thank you again for recommending Reid. It’s been less than two weeks and he’s already done wonders.”
“I knew he would, but the case of wine and the piano for June were more than adequate. She’s thrilled to have one of her own,” she said as she kissed his cheek.
“I’m so glad,” Max replied with a fond chuckle. He thought June was a charming, remarkably intelligent child, and utterly adorable. It overjoyed Max to see Agnes glowing and so satisfied, too. Motherhood and marriage had been completely off of Agnes’s radar until Walker had remarried and she hired one of Reid’s nannies. The more Max learned about Reid and his marvelous agency, the more he respected and admired him.
