“Are you all right?” I repeat. “Can I help you with something?” That does it. A deep, giddy satisfaction builds in my chest as his head whips toward me. Keeping my brows together, I look him over as if I’m worried about his well-being. His eyes heat momentarily before he drapes a calm mask back over his face.
“I’m fine, just not feeling the greatest. Please continue,” he prompts his father, now choosing to lean his elbows against the table.
That was fast, Cas. Just one thrust of my magic is all it takes, huh? He tenses slightly, not removing his focus from Niair. This is going to be fun.
I swear to the gods, Nell, if you do anything else, you will be punished.
A smile tugs at my lips. It’s a good thing I love being punished, then. Turning my attention to Emrys, I speak to him a moment before my next trick. Ready, love?
I sense his confusion before gripping both of them tightly, almost feeling like they’re in my hands. I slowly begin working them, willing myself to not become aroused. Then everyone in the room will really know what’s going on. The prince expects my touch, only clenching his jaw in response. Emrys does not—he jerks, but recovers quickly as he pretends he was only sliding his chair forward a bit.
I’m sure the story Niair speaks of is enthralling, but I cannot focus on anything except the subtle micro-reactions from my males. They are too good at hiding them…so I fuck them harder.
A sheen of sweat covers Casmir’s skin while he wrings his hands, having trouble focusing on his father. Emrys’s heavy breathing is a symphony to my ears.
Should I make them come? Or just torture them a bit? I sigh, sitting back in my chair while my males fight for their sanity.
“And to be in the clouds? Incredible! Though disturbing as the wings didn’t move…or even have feathers? I’m not—” Niair’s voice trails off in my head. I want to feel bad about my lack of attention, seeing as I just met them, but I don’t.
I peek over at Cas and nearly choke on my wine at the sight of him glaring at me with a crimson face. “Cas? Do you need to go lie down?” I reach over to run a hand along his arm, not bothering to stop stroking them. His eyes darken. I swallow too loudly, now feeling my face flush.
“Casmir, honey, why don’t we all get some rest?” Teryn stands, wrapping her sweater further around her thin torso. “I’m feeling quite tired—it has been a long day. We will see you tomorrow.” She looks to me, her features softening. “Nell, it was so nice to finally meet you. I look forward to spending more time with you.” I nod, returning her smile. We all say our goodbyes as the two fae leave the dining area.
I’m not sure if it’s the wine, the anticipation of their punishment, or a combination of both…but the second Niair and Teryn are out of sight, I jump from the table and bolt out of the room. I temporarily increase the intensity of my magic—just enough to give me a head start—before letting it drop completely.
Maybe it’s childish of me to play with them like this, but I do not give a fuck. None of us ever had the opportunity to actually be childish, so why is it so wrong to indulge?
Chapter Seven
Anellah
Icackle, running up the stairs to the top floor. If only my mother could see me right now. She’d probably kick me out of Europa herself!
I’m barely winded as I make it to the training room, coaxing my essence to hide me from Casmir and Emrys’s sight. I let them feel me through the bond, though, so I know they’re close. Maybe another minute before they burst into the room.
Hm, where should I wait? My instinct is to find a dark corner, or spot behind equipment, but they’ll be expecting that. No, I need to do something they will not predict. An idea lights my nerves, and I rush to the middle of the sparring mat, laying flat on my back. Here they can’t see me, but my presence will taint the atmosphere of the entire room and confuse them. But if they decide to walk through my path, they will trip over my hidden body.
It’s perfect.
Just as I rest my hands on my fluttering abdomen and stare at the stone ceiling, the door swings open. I bite my lip, trying so hard not to laugh as they walk in silently, looking as if they’re on some kind of important mission. Their eyes sweep the room twice before Emrys chuckles, tilting his head back.
“She’s using her essence,” he mutters, not so quietly. “But she’s here.”
Cas purses his lips, an animalistic hunger crossing his features before he orders Emrys to block the doors. Not that it would keep me from leaving, but the heavy machine Em drags over would certainly slow me down.
That’s fine. I don’t plan on leaving here by myself. And certainly not before they fuck the brat out of me.
“You might as well show yourself, princess. We’re going to find you eventually.” The prince’s voice is deep and threatening. I shiver, needing to scrunch my eyes closed at the over stimulation of my nerves. “The longer you make us look for you, the worse your punishment will be.” The promise in his words has me clenching my thighs together.
I fucking love these males. I have never felt so light or free as I do with them. They make me come alive. Their souls awaken mine and they dance perfectly together.
But my love for them does not quell the desire to get under their skin. So I stay on the mat, only moving my head to watch them peruse the space. They each take a side, walking slowly as they use all of their senses to detect where I am. Even if I wasn’t using my essence, the cover of darkness would still make this fun. The only light comes from the minuscule amount of moon showing through the clouds. I can barely make out their features, except for the outlines of their muscled bodies, and their eyes when the whites catch the moon’s dimmed illumination.
“Love,” Em taunts quietly. He walks a few feet behind my head, looking the opposite direction as if he believes I’ll lunge out of the shadows. “I know you’re here…the smell of your arousal is strong. I can practically fucking taste your sweetness on my tongue.” He tenses, the bulge in his pants very obvious, even with how dark it is.
They search for several more minutes, saying everything they can think of to get me to break. Casmir even promised my punishment could be sitting on his face; I know he’s lying, though. Unless he planned to hold me at the edge until I was begging for release.
I shudder at the thought. That would be quite the punishment…maybe I should just show myself?
