“Everything. I don’t want your three little monsters knowing a thing about me or my life.”

He raises an eyebrow at that, once again leaning back on his throne with that stupid, smug expression on his face. “You expect me to lie to my children?”

“Don’t give me that shit. You’re lying to them anyway.”

He doesn’t respond, so I move to leave, stopping when he calls out, “Hailey.”

“What?”

“I have five children, not three,” he tells me. I don’t turn around to find out if his face matches the warning in his tone. “Damon, Callie, Wren, Levi, and Kai. If you do anything to hurt them, I will make you regret it. Do you understand me?”

I’m not planning on hurting them, but I still sneer at his audacity. Me hurt them?

“Give me a fucking break, Elijah,” I mutter, opening the door to let myself out.

Chapter 3

KAI

I wake up with my back pressed to Wren’s chest, his big arm wrapped around my ribs, a spare pillow wedged between us to keep my ass away from his dick. We sleep like this more often than not. It’s a little more awkward now that he’s married. Luckily his bed is big enough for the three of us, because I’m not fucking leaving. I hate sleeping by myself.

I’m reaching over to grab my phone from the nightstand when Wren’s body is suddenly snatched away from me. Instinct has me whipping my head around in a panic, but it’s gone in the next second. I scrunch my nose at the sight of my brother pinned beneath Levi, their bodies grinding together while they tongue-fuck each other.

“Fuck, Lev…”

“Shh,” Levi whispers, his hand moving beneath the sheets. “Good boy.”

“Dude, you know I’m lying right here, yeah?”

“Kai, you know you have your own bed right next door, yeah?” Levi throws back, his voice muffled by Wren’s mouth.

“I can still sleep in here if I want,” I turn to face them fully and prop my head up next to Wren’s. “He might be yours now, but he’s still mine. Right, brother?”

“Right,” he agrees, but he’s not even listening to me.

“Traitor.”

Levi chuckles and kisses him again. I pinch my lips to the side as I watch them do their thing, not jealous, but…something else. It feels like want, but it’s not for Levi. I can only think of one other person I’d like to do that with right now, and she’s definitely a she.

“Isn’t it funny how you’re gay and I’m not?” I ask randomly, staring at the side of my twin brother’s face. “I always thought we were exactly the same.”

“I told you I’m not gay,” he mutters between kisses, and Levi breathes a laugh, tipping Wren’s chin up with his finger to get to his neck. “I’m just…Lev.”

“You’re just Lev?”

“Not gay,” he rasps. “Only for him.”

“He’s so gay,” Levi mouths to me, making me grin.

Lucky motherfuckers.

Levi takes Wren’s hands, pushes them down to the pillow on either side of his head, and locks their fingers together, his thumb grazing the gold wedding band on his left hand. He whispers something in his ear, and I drop down on my back, averting my eyes to the ceiling.

I’m happy they’re happy after all the bullshit they had to go through to get here, but still, the urge to punch them is there sometimes. I’m not jealous though. Not at all.

When I hear Callie moaning through the wall, I pick up my phone and text the girl I’ve wanted to talk to since the second I opened my eyes ten minutes ago. I text her every morning, but she never texts me back. She probably thinks I’m a stalker, but fuck it. I am a stalker when it comes to her. I’m obsessed with her.
