Once I’m in the mansion, my eyes roam around the spacious foyer, the grand staircase and the expensive velvet benches in front of it. This place is massive and lavish so I doubt Feliks’ room is the only place to sleep. I’ve been having a little too much fun with him to figure out sleeping arrangements on my own.
My hands in fists, I head towards the stairs before Feliks’ voice comes from the kitchen. “Think Mia will like it?”
That stops me in my path, my hand on the rail.
“That?” Lev chuckles. “I dunno man, you think Mia’s that kind of girl?”
What the hell are they talking about? And why am I the subject?
Staying on my toes, I move towards the kitchen, trying to keep myself out of sight. When I peek around the wall, Feliks has a silver necklace hanging from his fingers. A string of diamonds hangs in the middle. “I don’t know what kind of girl she is.” Feliks’ orbs sparkle like the diamonds in his hand.
“You can ask Dom,” Lev chuckles again, munching from a bag of chips, that clip in his hand.
“Ha, funny.” Feliks’ deadpan face shows no humour as his eyes narrow at the necklace. “I can’t ask her. You should’ve seen her this morning. All raged and demonic.”
Demonic?
Lev smirks. “Well, if you let Dom talk to me like that after you fucked me, I’d be pretty pissed too.”
My jaw clenches.
He told him?
Who else knows? Does Dom?
Fuck Dom.
I shouldn’t care what he thinks and the guys shouldn't shame me for whatever I’ve done. I don’t belong to anyone. Especially not Dominik Federov. “Fuckin’ asshole,” I mutter, but when I do, both those golden eyes and those blues whip towards me.
Lev smiles, his straight row of teeth glittering. “You can ask her yourself.” He rises from his seat, walking toward me. He doesn’t seem at all bothered that Feliks and I got it on, especially when I had his cock in my mouth… and his brother’s. His fingers reach out for my hand as I pass. “Be easy on him. This one’s sensitive.” A shiver rises up my spine. It only worsens when Feliks looks at me with that gleaming gaze.
“Insensitive seems to be more like it,” I mutter, Lev chuckling as he walks away. My eyes shift to the necklace in Feliks’ hand. “You told him?”
“He heard.” My cheeks heat wondering how loud we were this morning. Feliks usually keeps me gagged with his hands or his toys ... or his mouth. Our sinful acts fill my mind before I shake it out of my head.
Not now.
Feliks holds out the necklace. “I got this for—”
“Do you know how many times my father threw me under the bus?” My question cuts off his words. “Or used me for his own plans or downright didn’t consider what I wanted?”
Feliks sighs, the necklace dropping when his arms fall to his sides. “No, Mia, I don’t.”
“Well.” Walking towards him in the middle of the kitchen, I take the necklace. It's hard to ignore the warmth that spreads through me when our fingers touch. “It was often. Too often. And you know what he did when he wanted to apologize? Or get me on his side again?” Feliks’ eyes close and I know it’s hitting him as I drop the necklace to the floor. “Bought me diamonds.”
“Mia, I’m—”
“You hiding from me, Mia Mouse?” Dom’s voice comes from behind me.
But I ignore it, wanting Feliks to make this right. “You’re what?”
Feliks kicks the necklace under the stove. “Nothing.”
“Wuss.” My eyes narrow.
“Am I interrupting?” Dom asks. “Or did you not hear my question?”
“You’re not interrupting a thing.” Turning around, I look at Dom square in those eyes that match the diamonds on the floor. “And I heard your question. I’m choosing not to answer. Moving towards the kitchen exit, I push past Dom before heading for the front door, moving into the evening air.
