“You once told me that you wouldn’t give up on us,” Isabella said. “I’m not sure you meant this.”

“I did mean this,” Kelsey stated. “I didn’t say more then because I wasn’t sure you were ready to hear it.”

Isabella put the water bottle back on the table then pushed Kelsey back down on the bed. She held Kelsey’s hands on either side of her head and smiled. “You may not be ready to hear this, but I have to tell you.”

Kelsey raised her brows.

“I’m falling in love with you, Kels,” Isabella said. “If I wasn’t sure before I am now. No one has made me feel what you just did. I’ve never felt so close to another person.”

“Our hearts have been talking to each other and tonight we listened,” Kelsey said.

Isabella nodded. “Something has been missing in my life for a long time. Now I know, it’s you.”

Kelsey furrowed her brow. “Really?”

“Yes.”

“I’ve been waiting. I hoped my person was out there. I finally found her.” Kelsey reached up and kissed Isabella’s lips.

“Oh, Kels. I want to be the person you can count on and share all the girls' successes with,” Isabella said.

“Bella.” Kelsey smiled. “I remember sharing that with you not long after we met.”

“I listened, babe.”

Kelsey reached up and cupped the side of Isabella’s face. “I’m definitely more than just your friend.”

Isabella chuckled. “You were listening, too.”

“I think we can talk more later,” Kelsey said, pulling Isabella down for a kiss that quickly became heated.

“Mmm.” Isabella pulled her lips away and began to kiss down Kelsey’s body. “I want to talk to your heart again.”

Kelsey gasped as Isabella kissed lower and lower.

“Who knew a shower could be this much fun?” Isabella chuckled and wrapped a towel around Kelsey.

“It’s so big, it would be a waste not to use it,” Kelsey said with a smirk.

“Absolutely.” Isabella gave Kelsey a quick kiss.

“Okay, the plan this morning is to go see Carmen and then to the spa, right?”

“I guess,” Isabella said as she slowly got dressed. “Are you sure we can’t just stay here?”

“I’m sensing something, Bella,” Kelsey said. “You sound a little desperate, like this is the only time we’ll get to be alone on one of these adventures. This is just our first trip, babe.”

Isabella sighed. “It’s just that… Who knows about us right now?”

“Well, Dana and Emma do and I imagine Riley has figured it out since she let us talk at her place last month,” Kelsey said.

“I just told Riley we had something important to talk about and couldn’t get away from the group,” Isabella explained.

“Don’t you think she has a pretty good idea what we needed to talk about?”

“Yeah, and if Riley knows then Alex and Liz do, too.”
