“What a story,” Elena said.

“I know. That reminds me, Vi’s parents are coming in this weekend and Mom wants to have Sunday lunch for them. Would you like to come with me?”

“Are you sure?”

“Of course I’m sure. You’ve been to these Sunday things with me before. CeCe and Alexis are hosting.”

“I’d love to,” Elena said. “What can we bring?”

Cat shook her head. “CeCe said she and Alexis have it covered, so just us.”

“Is Cory nervous to meet Vi’s parents?”

“I think she’s more excited than nervous.”

“They’ll love her. How can anyone not love the Sloan sisters?” Elena grinned.

Cat smirked. “I can give you a list, starting with?—”

“Nope. Don’t say her name. She doesn’t deserve even one thought from us.”

Cat chuckled. “Yes ma’am.”

Elena gasped when she noticed two women walking through the entrance from CeCe’s salon. “Is that Krista Kyle?” she asked excitedly.

Cat looked over and smiled. “Want to meet her?”

“Yes! Oh my God, is that Tara Holloway with her?”

“Come on,” Cat said, walking towards Krista.

“Hey, there she is,” Krista said, giving Cat a hug. “Cat, I’d like you to meet Tara Holloway.”

“How have we not met before?” Tara said, extending her hand. “I want to thank you for the little toys you left with Melanie. We’ve been having fun with those.”

Cat chuckled. “That’s what they’re for.” Cat turned to Elena and reached for her arm, bringing her closer. “I’d like you both to meet my good friend, Elena Burkett.”

“It’s so nice to meet you,” Krista said with a friendly smile.

“I’m such a fan of both of your work,” Elena gushed. “I’ll try not to embarrass any of us.”

Tara laughed. “Thank you. I love meeting fans. It’s because of you that I get to make movies.”

Elena grinned and shook her hand. She knew Cat was friends with Krista, but couldn’t believe she was actually meeting two of her favorite actresses.

“Our wives are getting pedicures and Tara has a business proposition for you,” Krista said.

“My wife has convinced me to write a memoir and I’ve been working with an author,” Tara said.

“Melanie has been after me forever to write a memoir,” Krista said.

“You should. We’ve both got interesting stories to tell,” Tara said.

“Let’s see how yours does then I might be convinced.”

“I’d love to be the first to sell it,” Cat said excitedly.

“I don’t only want you to sell it. I want to do a book signing.”
