“They welcomed me into your world with open arms,” CeCe said.
“Look!” Cory said to Vi. “All our friends from Your Way are here.”
“I see,” Vi replied. “Aww, there’s my former boss and assistant.”
“They love y’all,” Cat said.
“But no one outshines Nicolas,” Elena said.
“He kept our secret because he knew we needed time to grow into it,” Cat said.
“Okay,” Christine said. “Let’s get you married.”
Krista led them onto the deck and the crowd quieted when she took her seat.
Christine walked down the aisle first then turned and smiled. “I have been entrusted and have the highest honor of officiating this ceremony of love and marriage.”
Vi came down the aisle first, followed by Alexis and then Elena.
Everyone turned in expectation to see which Sloan sister would come first.
Cat looked at Cory and CeCe with tears in her eyes. “Krista and Tara may think the lake is special, but I think we created a magical place together,” Cat said.
“The Sloan Sisters’ Shopping Extravaganza brought us so much more than a business,” CeCe said.
Cory returned their smiles then looked up. “Thanks, Dad.”
They locked arms and strolled down the aisle together, smiling at their friends then grabbing their partners’ hands.
“What a glorious day to share this special time with friends and family,” Christine began. “You won’t hear vows from each couple or we’d be here long after the sun sets.”
This brought chuckles from the crowd.
“They also exchanged rings privately before the ceremony,” Christine added.
They held up their fingers and wiggled them.
“These six wonderful women came together and agreed on these vows. If you’ll face your partner and join hands,” Christine said.
“Do you vow to always communicate?” Christine said. “That means talking and especially listening to each other.”
There were several chuckles from the spectators.
In unison they said, “I do.”
“Do you vow to keep surprising each other? Because you have to keep the magic alive,” Christine said.
“I do,” they once again repeated.
“Do you vow to share your love with each other and help it grow from here on out?” Christine said.
“I do,” rang out again.
“Do you take each other to be your partner, your best friend, your wife?” Christine said.
“I do.”
“Then by the power vested in me by being your mom and your mother-in-law and of course certification from the internet,” Christine said to another round of chuckles, “I pronounce you, Corine and Violet, Cecilia and Alexis, Catarina and Elena, married.”
