Cory smiled. “I’ve always felt like I’ve been waiting for someone. I kept thinking that eventually I would find her or she’d find me.”

Vi nodded. “I get that.”

“When you walked into my store that day, I looked into your eyes and it felt like a warm hug that would hold me and not let me go, but that was just one look. So from there…” Cory paused as Vi propped herself on her elbow next to her. “You know what happened, I kept running into you and we began to talk.” Cory sighed.

Vi reached for Cory’s hand and encouraged her to keep going.

“You talked about bulldozing me with your feelings, well, here goes. Even though you were exasperated with me when you kissed me for the first time, I had…” Cory paused, searching for the right words.

“The sense that you were home?” Vi said softly.

Cory nodded. “This was what my heart was waiting on. You’re who I’ve been waiting for. I’m the one bulldozing you with feelings, not very romantic of me.”

Vi had tears in her eyes. “I don’t think I’ve ever read bulldoze and romantic in the same sentence in any of my sapphic novels.”

Cory chuckled. “It’s all your fault!”

“My fault?”

“Yes!” Cory leaned over and ran the back of her hand down Vi’s cheek. “It’s the way you look at me. It makes all these feelings bubble up inside me and now they have a place to go.”

Vi smiled. “Are you going to kiss me?”

“I may never stop kissing you,” Cory said softly, pushing Vi onto her back.

“I don’t want you to stop,” Vi said, pulling Cory down for a passionate kiss.

Before Cory lost herself in the kiss she could hear the breeze rustle in the trees around them and feel it waft over their bodies. She was in the perfect place at the perfect time with the woman she was swiftly falling in love with. Cory didn’t care if it was fast. Her heart was certain and she was pretty sure Vi’s felt the same way.

“You are so beautiful,” Cory whispered as she gulped a much needed breath.

Vi gasped as Cory trailed her fingers over the exposed skin on her stomach. Cory’s hand had a mind of its own as she kissed Vi again and their tongues began to dance with desire.

Cory was about to slide her hand into Vi’s swimsuit bottoms when she realized they were lying on the beach, exposed, even though no one else was around. Her hand stilled, but then she felt Vi’s hand over hers encouraging her hand lower.

Cory pulled her lips from Vi’s and stared into her near black eyes. “Are you sure?”

Vi smiled. “I’m sure we’re having sex on the beach just like the drink you made me, only better.”

Cory smiled. “But it’s our first time.”

“It’s the perfect time. No holding back, remember?”

“Violet,” Cory whispered and claimed Vi’s lips in a hungry kiss. This woman had driven her wild since the first time their eyes had met and now she’d let her emotions free not only to explore Vi’s body, but to touch her heart.

Cory’s hand slid up Vi’s stomach and under her swimsuit top. She pushed the fabric up to free Vi’s ample breast. It fit perfectly in her cupped hand, of course it did, and Cory moaned with satisfaction. She ran her thumb over Vi’s hardening nipple then pinched it between her thumb and forefinger.

Vi moaned with pleasure as she ran her fingers through Cory’s hair and pulled gently.

Cory felt a jolt of electricity shoot through her body. She groaned and slid her hand down Vi’s stomach until she found her wetness.

“Oh God!” Vi moaned.

Cory could feel Vi’s arms tighten around her as she ran her finger through Vi’s drenched center. The silkiness of Vi’s wetness coupled with her passionate kisses almost made Cory come undone. But this was just the beginning.

Vi’s hips began to press against Cory’s hand as her finger circled Vi’s most sensitive spot. Cory could hear Vi’s breath catch in her throat when she slid a finger inside Vi’s velvety center.

“Yes, Cory. God, yes,” Vi said breathlessly.
