“Perfect.” Nora carefully slid them on Alexis's feet.

“Thanks, Nora.” She handed her several bills. “Keep the change. These look great,” Alexis said, wiggling her toes.

“You’re welcome.”

“Tell CeCe I’m leaving now. Thanks again.”
