“Yes,” I chanted, my hips rocking weakly up to meet Jay’s thrusts the best I could. “Yes, yes!”
I’m pretty sure I passed out briefly when I came again. Every nerve was frayed and my core ached from orgasm after orgasm. Jay buried himself deep inside me when he came, and he moaned my name like a prayer, packing his cum deep inside me.
I was exhausted and utterly sated. This was more than I expected, and it definitely set the bar high for the next time I was so horny.
“Thank—.” Dryness closed my throat briefly and I swallowed. “Thank you.” Cuddled together in the warm, post-orgasm glow, satisfaction sat proudly in my chest.
“You don’t have to thank us,” Jay said, lightly kissing my forehead. “I wish I’d gotten here sooner.”
“Oh, we’re doing that again,” I chuckled. “When I can feel my legs again.”
“Oh, we are, are we?” Bailey asked, his facial hair tickling my neck as he spoke.
“If she demands it, it must be true,” Tyler murmured, stroking and kissing my inner thigh.
“I love you guys,” I sighed happily, closing my eyes.
“Love you too,” came three responses in unison.
Life was definitely on the right track.
“Oh shit,” Tyler snorted, bolting upright. “We’re so late for work.”
“Worth it,” Bailey said, not making any attempt to move.

“It’s like something out of a movie,” Selena murmured a couple of days later, her tone low as she studied the papers in front of her while tearing her donut into tiny pieces.
I watched her carefully, trying to decide when it was time to pull the folder away. Going over Selena’s witness statement from when she was shot was understandably triggering for her, but we needed every single detail to be as correct as possible. Andrés’ lawyer would be all over her and the slightest discrepancy could bring this case to its needs.
We needed everything to be watertight.
“A movie?” I prompted gently.
“Just…” She sighed deeply. “Reading it all back like this is so weird because it feels like a movie script. But I lived it. It’s part of my life and it’s in my mind like a sharp memory, but at the same time it doesn’t feel real. Like, this shit isn’t supposed to happen. Not to people like me.”
“Ahh yes, the beautiful and charming are definitely never supposed to get shot at,” I teased.
Selena responded by flicking some crumbs my way. “You know what I mean.”
“I do.” More than she realized. Thinking back to when my partner was shot and killed still didn’t feel real, even after all these years. “So, I have to warn you. Andrés’ defence will likely go after you and your father. I can’t say for sure how they will spin it but given your father’s involvement with Andrés and the robbery, they will likely try and accuse you of seeking revenge on Andrés for your father’s disappearance.”
Selena’s brow lifted. “But… but I was undercover. I thought that would be clear in all of the reports?”
“That will be,” I explained, “but your motivations will be what is brought into question. For example, they might try to spin your unwilling involvement as part of a ploy to get as close to Andrés as possible so you could confront him about your father. That can lead to the implication that you went there with murderous intent or worse.”
“That’s not true!”
“We know that, but his lawyer will do everything he can to paint you as guilty or deserving in the eyes of the Jury. Which is why you will have to maintain your cool and stick to the facts of what happened.” I flashed her a sympathetic smile. “It will be difficult but keeping your motivations and feelings out of it will be the key. You were there for us, and it went south.”
“I understand.” Her shoulders dropped slightly and the doughnut between her fingers was quickly becoming a plate of breadcrumbs.
“This goes for identifying Andrés as the one that shot you as well,” I continued. “You need to be clear on the details and show no doubt.”
“I saw him, and I felt it,” Selena remarked sharply, “isn’t that enough?”
