“Um guys, are you going to intervene?” Clarance asked hesitantly.

“Should we?” York asked shrugging as she looked over at Diesel.

“Fuck it. Clarance, you and Kermit help Viper hold the fucker down. Let me grab the key. Once I have it, you deal with his ass like the others.” Diesel sighed realizing they had a mission to deal with.

With Symon unconscious, Diesel went over to where he was laid out. Crouching down, she yanked the necklace from around his neck. She stared at his bloody prone body for several seconds before standing up. When she did, she kicked Symon once, hard in the balls.

“I can’t believe I allowed you to haunt my nightmares. You’re nothing but a coward who likes to give the orders unless it’s in the dark then you’re nothing but a cockroach.”

Without waiting for the others, she left the room and headed out the front door towards her motorcycle and rode off. She needed the cold night air to calm her nerves and put her demons back in the box until she was ready to unleash them on the next mother fucker who got in her way.

Diesel arrived back at the club, Alpha Squad, Bravo Squad, her captain, the men, Toi and Angel all with her as they went into the club and towards the room where Katrina had been found. Looking around the room, they found the door that was in the video that seemed so out of place.

Going towards the door, Diesel turned the knob to see if it opened without the key. When she realized that the door wasn’t going to open on it’s own, she removed the key from her pocket and placed it in the lock, turning it to see if it worked. Up on hearing the sweet sound of the click, she opened the door to find the tunnel that had been mentioned.

Pulling out a flashlight, Diesel walked into the dark tunnel, weapon and flashlight in hand. She didn’t wait to see who followed her. She just knew she wasn’t alone in the tunnel. For that lone, she was grateful.

She slowly made her way through the tunnel towards the building that it was attached to. To where her daughter was according to Blu. Could he have been lying to her? Setting a trap thinking that Symon had escaped?

She knew that no matter what, her team had her back and if there was a fight coming her way, the enemy wouldn’t stand a chance. She wasn’t going down without a fight.

The tunnel wasn’t very long, which didn’t surprise her. The buildings were close together, Maybe, fifty feet, if that much apart from each other. On the outside, nothing connected the buildings together. The tunnel underground from Eternal Nights to the abandoned building was a genius idea.

Diesel had Oz do the research on the abandoned building behind the club. Sure enough, it was buried in the ownership of several shell companies. If you didn’t know what you were looking for or how to dig past that, you wouldn’t be able to find out who truly owned the building.

Coming to a door, Diesel hesitated on her next move. Looking behind her, she saw her team, all seven of them, if you included the captain, Viper behind them with Highlander, Jacko, Kermit and the rest of their motley crew they called family that followed them. Looking back at her team, she caught the eyes of Showalter, Pratt, York and her captain, she nodded to them knowing they would understand her unspoken statement.

She was going in. She didn’t know if that door opened into a room or if it opened into a larger area that would lead her to where her daughter was being held. She reacted and didn’t do the research she should have done. The recon they would have done any other time went out the window because this was her child that was in danger. A dangerous situation she walked herself and her team into.

Opening the door, her weapon raised, knowing her team would take out anyone who took her down since she was in front, she stepped through the door going straight. The others followed her through the door, fanning out making sure she was covered on the side and back in case someone tried to sneak up on them.

“Over here.” York announced, nodding toward a door in a section that looked like it was remodeled while everything else still looked like it was falling apart.

“Everything else looks like it’s falling apart. The wall around that door still looks like everything else. It’s the door that stands out for me.” Pratt agreed with York as she slowly moved closer.

Before she could reach the door, she heard a loud clang nearby. Everyone turned as a man came out from behind a wall. He held a gun to a young crying girl’s head. Well fuck!

When Diesel turned at the sound, she found none other than Frank Kriger standing there in the open with a gun to a crying, drugged out Raven’s head. She had to fight every instinct in her that said to fire her weapon and put a bullet in Krieger’s head.

“Ah, the memories of that night are making my cock hard right now.” Krieger chuckled as he looked Diesel up and down, a smirk on his face. “I have to say, you filled out nicely my dear.”

“Go fuck yourself, Krieger.” Diesel sneered, shifting slightly so she could keep Kriger in her sights.

Diesel looked over at Raven and checked her over with her eyes. She could tell she’d been beaten. Beyond that, she wasn’t sure. She had leggings on and an oversized shirt. She could see bruises and blood on her face, the handprint around her neck and the busted lips. She could also see that Raven’s hands were bruised and swollen. She didn’t make it easy for Symon to do whatever he had been doing. She fought back every chance she could. Good girl!

FIFTY-TWO

Viper was losing his fucking mind. The fucker who caused his wife all her misery was standing in front of him, smirking at his wife and ogling her body. Knowing who this fucker was and seeing him now had him seeing red. He wanted to end this son-of-a-bitch right now.

“Where’s that fucker, Symon? Should have killed his fucking ass a long time ago.” Krieger demanded, pushing his gun into Raven’s head.

Viper could see Diesel getting antsy each time he did that. He looked over at Highlander and Jacko to see if they had a plan and saw them watching the women.

“Symon isn’t your problem anymore. He’s done.” Diesel seethed at Krieger, moving slowly closer to Kriger.

“Where the fuck is he, Alexandria? Don’t tell me you two suddenly became chummy. I know that’s bullshit because that fucker has had a hardon for you since the fucking moment he could get a damn woody. He was fucking obsessed with you.” Kreiger yelled at Diesel, waiving his gun around at Diesel.

Viper became antsy. He didn’t know which was worse, the fucker having the gun on Raven and being a lunatic or waiving his weapon at Diesel while he ranted and raved. The only good thing was that everyone had their weapons still raised and pointed at Krieger.
