“Alright. We have several that are completely zonked out. The others are being transported to the black sites. Clarance said to call him when we’re ready for the others to be taken in. BTW, L.B got Kraven singing like a fucking canary. You’re going to want to go talk to him. He and Clarance think you may want to take a trip to speak with your brother-in-law. Might have some helpful information before you talk to this shithead.” Pratt informed Diesel, before looking over at Viper to nod at him.

“Can you guys handle these asshats?” Viper asked, looking at the four they were taking besides Symon.

“Yeah. If they start to come around, we’ll jab ‘em again. We have enough to keep them down for at least two days. Clarance can easily get me more if needed.” Pratt shrugged, looking over at the man who looked up when he heard his name.

“Do I want to know how ye know this man?” Highlander asked, crossing his arms over his chest, glaring at Clarance.

“Calm your tits, squidward. She’s never banged the dude. Sheesh. Someone her brother served in the Army with. He was Delta Force at the same time Dom was. Instead of going civvie, he got tapped for the spy shit. He works for her uncle now.” Diesel laughed, patting Highlander on the biceps.

When Highlander turned to glare at Dom, Viper couldn’t help but laugh at the jealousy radiating off of Highlander. He had to admit, Clarance had that sexy Geralt of Rivia look about him. Instead of the silverish colored hair the man in the show had, his hair was a dirtier blonde and currently in a ponytail. To make matters worse, as if he knew what was going on, he sent Pratt a wink when she looked over at him and rolled her eyes.

“If you guys are sure. Kermit, you and Houston will help them. I know Highlander and his men will be there. I don’t trust Symon or his men…” Diesel hesitantly stated, chewing her bottom lip.

“Go! We’ve got this. We need all the info we can get before we interrogate Symon and his flunkies. Something he says may help us deal with the ranking members before we touch Symon.” York said, stepping up to Diesel and pulling her into a hug.

“I’m going go into Domme mode if you don’t listen to the rest of us.” Showalter crossed her arms over her chest, glaring at Diesel.

“Damn, that’s hot!” Kermit quipped, shivering in anticipation. “Can I watch?”

“Perv!” Viper couldn’t help but mutter, sending several of them into laughter.

Viper’s breath caught in his chest when Diesel looked over at him. He wasn’t sure what she was going to say or do. She stared at him for several minutes, sending his blood pressure rising.

“Will you go with me?” Diesel asked quietly, afraid he would say no.

“I wouldn’t be anywhere else.” Viper answered, letting out the air he had trapped in his lungs.

“Go! Clarance, you have two of my peeps with you for Kraven. Get them there and back safely. Remember, I know where you live, bitch!” Pratt fired at Clarance, making Highlander growl.

“Ye know where he lives?”

“Yep, just like he knows where I live. Duh!” Pratt smirked at her husband before walking away, winking at Viper and Diesel.

“She totally loves riling him up, doesn’t she?” Viper asked, chuckling as Highlander followed his wife, growling his displeasure.

“It’s what we live for. Let’s go see what Kraven has to say.” Diesel sighed, grabbing his hand and holding on for dear life.

FORTY-EIGHT

Diesel took a deep breath before she hopped down from the helicopter. They had flown in to the black site they were now standing in. She yawned big to unclog her ears and watched as Viper did the same thing. Everything was falling into place, and yet it wasn’t.

While they had Katrina, they were no closer to finding Raven or Viper’s sister. All she could think about was Kraven had better have some damn good answers, or she was going to allow these men to do whatever they wanted. She was at the point, mentally and emotionally, that she didn’t care if any of her family members lived or died anymore.

“Agent three-five-six-four here with guests. They are here to see prisoner nine-eight-five-four-six-eight. Have him taken to interrogation room twenty-four.”

“Sounds so James Bondish.” Diesel quipped, putting her hands into her pockets for something to do.

Diesel smirked when Clarance laughed a hearty laugh. “That’s what the redhead says all the time. You doing ok, hun?”

Diesel couldn’t help but step back and make sure something of her was touching Viper when he growled at Clarence’s term ‘hun.’ “Yeah, I’m good. Ready to get this shit over with. All of it. Red said you’re going to be with us the whole way through. That’s unusual for you guys.”

“We’ve been after these guys for years. Hell, probably even longer than that. I know the head honcho of this outfit has been after the father just before he immigrated to the US from Germany under a false name. He’s wanted for all kinds of shit back there.” Clarance advised, unaware that he just opened up a whole shit can of information.

“I thought it was the grandfather who immigrated here and had the father here?” Diesel stood taller, looking at Clarance head on.

“No. The father moved here when his operation in Germany got busted shortly after he turned twenty-one. He took the wrong girl to put into his stable and it blew open wide. The grandfather and two others were killed in the raid they had over there. Your man’s father disappeared and later showed up in the US. We could never get close to him here. Too many of his followers protected him. Of course, he found himself in a town of gypsies who believed like he did. They overpowered the others who wanted to allow women to have some say. They either got killed or were forced into their way of life.”

Diesel couldn’t believe what she was hearing. Could it be possible? No. She remembered how her mother and father treated her. Her mother hated her. She didn’t really remember much about her sisters. She didn’t really interact with them growing up because they followed in their mother’s footsteps. She didn’t want that life. She wanted freedom away from everything that her family believed in.
