“Yeah, it wasn’t too much for you?”
His concern made me smile. “No, it was amazing.”
“I thought so too. Your little cunt was so pretty when it opened up for your toys and then for me.”
“Axel,” I whined, my cheeks heating under his filthy praise.
“Paisley,” he whined back, chuckling when I sighed in defeat.
“I need to feed you some real food,” he said, feeding me another chocolate square.
“Chocolate is technically a salad. It comes from a plant.” I could practically feel him roll his eyes at my statement.

“Do you want some pizza with your ranch?” Axel teased me as I poured the salad dressing on my plate. I was sitting on the floor in my living room, eating pizza over the coffee table. I was surprised to find out I enjoyed having Axel in my space.
“Everything tastes better with ranch.” I shrugged.
“I’m not sure you can taste anything except the ranch with that mess.”
I stuck my tongue out at him and he laughed. “You are a brat.”
“Emily thinks Doms are the biggest brats. They’re the ones who get all bent out of shape if they don’t get their way.”
My heart fell as soon as I mentioned Emily. I had temporarily forgotten about the trouble with her.
Axel stroked my face—something he did often—and I looked up at him. “I promise it’s going to be okay, baby.”
I wasn’t sure that it would be, but I nodded anyway before going back to playing with my Barbies.
Someone knocked on the door and I tried to scramble to my feet. I hated crutches. They were a pain in my ass and my arm pits.
“I got it, baby,” Axel said as he stood and walked toward the door. When he opened it, I tried to see who was there, but his body blocked my view. However, the soft whispers of voices I recognized made me smile. It was Reagan and Dallas!
“She’s playing,” Axel informed them. “You guys can come on in. I’m sure she'll be glad for the company.”
Excited Littles bounced into my living room, followed by their Daddies.
“Hi,” Dallas said as she rushed to where I was sitting on the floor. “We heard you got an ouchie. We’re so sorry. We brought you presents to help you feel better!”
“Three presents,” Reagan agreed as she sat criss-cross applesauce on the floor in front of me.
“Thank you,” I whispered, thickly. That was so nice of them.
They handed me the gift bags as their Daddies sat on my couch. The three large, imposing men made it look so small.
“I have some beers in the fridge, I’ll get them for your Daddies,” I whispered to my friends. “Can you tell them?” I tried to pull myself up, reaching for my crutches, but Axel noticed..
“What do you need, baby?”
“Beers in the fridge for our Daddies. We can get them, though!” Dallas filled in for me. I was very shy around others. It was harder to talk to Axel with them here too. I was surprised because I hadn’t been shy around him since we’d left the hospital.
“I’ve got it, baby. You just have some fun with your friends.”
His message was clear. I was accepted within the group.
Trying hard to allow myself to believe it, I set a pink gift bag in between my legs and pulled the tissue paper out. “Oh, thank you,” I said, pulling out a clay bead kit. “They are so pretty!”
